Chapter 3: Finding the Dragon Balls

Hello everyone, here's the long-awaited chapter three of C.E.C.E

Sorry this took so long for me to get done, I am writing chapter 4 at the moment but any feedback or ideas are welcome, it really helps me to know what my readers want to see in a story.

Sorry if some of it's a little confusing but I have tried my best to explain what is note that this a fan written story meaning anything can happen including Bardock coming back, even though I haven't seen this show in quiet some time, before I started writing chapter 2 I went onto the BDZ wiki and read up on the events to get to know the timeline again since I was going to change it obviously.

EDIT 28/8/14: Vegeta Sr. and Goku Sr. are the future versions of Vegeta and Goku. Future Trunks will be Trunks. I have cut out the Flashback because it wasn't need, I might use Kenzara (my OC for this story) later on when it is needed. Because I cut out the flashback this chapter is quite a bit shorter

A week later at the Brief's house

It took around a week to find all the DragonBalls, it wasn't too much trouble though Yamcha and Krillin did get chased by a protective mother dinosaur who lived near the lake having through they had taken one of its eggs, in the end they away with the two-star DragonBall though not without quite a few cuts and bruises, thankfully not broken bones...this time.

The Z-Fighters and Bulma were waiting for Tien and Chiaotzu to bring seven-star DragonBall.

Once everyone had something to eat they wished Goku and his father back, when Bardock and Goku appeared Goku was telling his father about some of his adventures he'd had while living on earth while playing a game of go-fish, said cards going everyone when they appeared on top of each other for some reason.

"A little warning would have been nice. Do you have any fours?" Goku questions after he had picked up his cards and set the deck between him and Goku completely ignoring the looks they were getting from the Z-Fighters. Bulma stared at Goku wondering how he knew how to play cards, she had just assumed he didn't know how to play.

"No. Go fish. Yamcha, Krillin you may want to move," Bardock answered, grinning slightly when Goku sighed in irritation and picked up another card, the Z-Fighters stared at Goku and Bardock wondering how they could be playing Go Fish like they had nothing better to do.

It was creepy how alike they looked. The only difference being the scar on Bardock's cheek and his bandana and Saiyan armour.

"TRUNK, GOTEN GET BACK HERE. YOUR DEAD WHEN I CATCH YOU," the Z-Fighters jumped when Pan yelled at Trunks and Goten. Yamcha and Krillin moved to the side just being the two teenagers ran out of the house, they would have crashed into Yamcha and Krillin if they had still been standing in front of the door.

Vegeta, Goku, Bardock, Gohan and Piccolo covered their ears, cringing at how loud Pan was, she sometimes forgot not to yell as her hearing wasn't as sensitive as her fathers, Uncles, Grandfather, Great-Grandfather, and Godfather's.

Pan would never fully understand why her Father, Uncles, Grandfather, and Great-Grandfather were constantly telling her not to shout, she wasn't being that loud, she tried not to yell though sometimes forgot, usually when she was upset.

"YOU CAN'T CATCH US," Goten and Trunks yelled before taking off with Pan's laptop, they were both laughing as they flew off as fast as they could. Pan ran out of the house a minute after the boys had flown off, Goku pointed in the direction the boys had flown not a minute earlier before going back to his game of 'Go Fish'.

He knew why Goten and Trunks were constantly stealing Pan's belongings.

It was the only way they could teach Pan how to fight and defend herself without getting into trouble with Bulma, ChiChi or Videl who had become incredibly paranode after she had Pan, even though she knew how to fight she was scared the boys would hurt Pan if they were too rough with her, not realising despite the fact pan was ¾ human, ¼ Saiyan she was still tough enough to not be easily hurt by Goten or Trunks.

The Z-Fighters couldn't believe anyone could get Goku to sit still for any length of time when anything other than food was involved, after a few more minutes the game was over, Bardock having won.

Goku just rolled his eyes as though he knew Bardock was going to win and was more than a little irritated. Bardock just laughed at the look on Goku's face.

"That's not far and you know it. You already knew what moves I was going to make," Goku grumbled good-naturedly as he pulled a box out of a bag none of them had noticed, slinging the back over his shoulder after he got up.

Bardock grinned and rubbed the back of his head laughing nervously, just like Goku did when he was nervous. Bardock moved out of the way seconds before Goten and Trunks crashed to the ground sliding past them and hitting the wall next to Vegeta who rolled his eyes.

Pan landed next to Goku, looking pleased with herself, holding her laptop to her chest.

"You really should learn," Pan stated, walking over to Goten and Trunks who sat up rubbing their heads, Pan turned on heel and walked back inside but not before giving Goku a hug and shaking Bardock's hand, a mischievous glint in her eyes.

Bardock just smiled and nodded slightly, she turned to Goku who nodded. Pan walked into the house with a smile on her face. Vegeta shook his head.

"Whatever you three have planned leave me out of it. I would rather not be the one forced to clean up you again," Vegeta muttered but only Goku heard smiling at the hidden message, he nodded before turning to ChiChi who was staring at him like he had grown a second head. He sighed and shook his head before walking inside with Bardock, Goku and Vegeta Sr.

Finally done! Sorry this took so long. I really need to get things done faster. I know the chapter is short, but I don't know what else to write. If anyone has any idea's or things they would like to happen in chapter 4 then please review and tell me what you would like to happen or PM me if you don't want everyone else to see what it is.

Please forgive me for posting this so late, thank you to all those who have read, reviewed, put on your alert list or favourite list it makes me really happy. Also for those who have read my Harry Potter Story Father's Love I have started on chapter 8, it will be a little slow since I got about three assignments that I have to do for three different subjects.

This story has 1,051 views I'm really pleased with that thank you everyone who bothers to read any of my stories.

EDIT 21/06/18: Yes I know this story is chapter is short and I usually put the Edit's at the start of the chapter but I decided not to this time. I was wondering if anyone would you like to see more of Bardock and Goku's relationship after they get to King Kai's planet but before they are wished back.

I sorted hinted at the conversation they were having, now that I'm going through editing and updating the chapters I thought I might add that to chapter 3.

If so then please let me know so I can add it. I tried to add it but it didn't seem right, if anyone has any ideas they are more then welcome. Thanks for reading and reviewing.
