The Devil Wears A Bandana // Ashton Irwin

Chapter 1

"Mia is walking by we need to do something." Ashton says panic growing in him as his ex-girlfriend came closer and closer. We were at a party that we knew Mia was coming to. I had agreed to just this once help Ashton make Mia jealous. She had broken up with him just about two weeks ago and he didn't find out that she had been cheating on him until after they had broken up. I don't like Ashton in any way shape or form. In fact I hate him. It was my best friend Kristen who talked me into doing this whole thing. Kristen was good friends with Luke and Luke was good friends with Ashton. Neither Ashton nor I were very excited about us being paired together but at a time of desperation he decided that I would have to do I guess.

"I have an idea." I say with a devious smirk growing across my face.

"And whats that?" Ashton asks intrigued. I see Mia walking by us and she locks eyes with me. That's when I put my plan into action. I press my lips againest his and after realizing my plan he starts to kiss me back. Our lips start moving in sync. He slipped his tongue into my mouth and then started working his magic. We were putting on quite a show for Mia who I'm sure was staring daggers at us. After having this go on for about a minute I pull away from the kiss.

"Nice one Pepper." he says ruining one of my actually good moments with Mr. Irwin. He was only bad when he opened his mouth. He's been calling me pepper since we were 8 and each time I've wanted to slap him. Ashton Irwin is truely the devil wearing a bandana.

3 WEEKS AGO

It was 2:37 A.M. when I was awoken by the sound of my idiot neighbor playing his damn drums. He was a drummer in a band him and his buddies had. They were actually pretty good. But Ashton being the douche he is plays his drums at all times of day. Though he mostly does it when it's insanely late at night. His parents yell at him almost every time he does it but he continues to do it time after time. I pick up my phone and dial his number.

"What do you want Pepper?" He's says in an irritated voice.

"I want for you to stop your drumming so I can go back to sleep." I say equally as irritated.

"Only if you beg." He says.

"Theres no way in hell I'll be doing that." I say back annoyed

"Well than I'm not gonna stop." Ashton says with plessure in his voice at how he's making me so agitated.

"Fine. Please stop drumming so I can get some god damn sleep." I say wanting to punch him through the phone.

"Now tell me I'm the best drummer in Australia." He says now getting cocky.

"Go to hell." I shout as I hang up on him. He doesn't start drumming anymore so I get comfortable in my bed again and try to get some sleep. My last thoughts before I drift off is about my burning hatred for the boy with dirty blonde hair.

"PIPER!" I hear Kristen yell as she jumped on my bed next to me.

"Jesus! Kristen, what are you doing here?" I say sitting up and leaning againest my headboard.

"Well Luke, Cal, Michael, and I were gonna go bowling and I wanted to know if you wanted to join." she says with a smirk on her face.

"Oh okay yeah I'll go." I say grabbing my phone from my bed side table to check the time. It was 11:23 a.m.

"Cool well we need to leave here at 12 to meet them at the bowling alley so get your ass moving." she says starting to laugh towards the end of her sentence.

"Alright alright I'm going." I say getting out of my bed and walking to my bathroom. I decide to skip a shower since I took one last night and because I can never take quick showers. So I just put on a little bit of makeup keeping it really natural and throwing my hair into a messy bun. I walk out of the bath room about 15 minutes after entering and then head over to my closet to grab something to wear. When I look over to see what Kristen is doing I see her laying on the bed watching cartoons. I decide on wearing a kiss band shirt, jeggings, and sneakers. I go back into the bathroom and change really quickly and then come back out while putting my phone in my pocket and walk back over to the bed where Kristen is sitting.

"I'm ready whenever you are." I say.

"Okay lets go, I'll drive." says Kristen reaching into her bag pulling out her keys. We both walk out the door of my room, run down the stairs and head out of the garage to her car. I walk over the passenger side and hop into the car.

"You do you know where the bowling alley is right?" I say remembering all the times we've gotten lost in the past.

"Yes Piper I know how to get to the bowling alley." Kristen says rolling her eyes.

"Okay well let's go then." I say ready to head out.

"Sounds good to me." Kristen says as she starts to back out of my drive way.

AT THE BOWLING ALLEY

"Kristen! Piper! You made it!" Luke says after seeing us enter the bowling alley.

"Hey Luke." I say and we give each other a quick hug.

"Hey Piper good to see ya." He says during the hug.

"How are doing today Lucas?" Says Kristen to Luke. They were good friends but I could tell that there were more feelings then just friendship going between them.

"I'm doing great Kris Jenner." Says Luke to Kristen they both started laughing and then Luke guided us to where the other boys were.

"Hey Piper cool shirt." Says Michael complimenting my shirt.

"Your shirt is pretty cool as well." I say back admiring his jack daniels whiskey shirt. Micheal and I hug eachother and then he starts saying hey to Kristen and I say hi to Calum. After we all said our hellos Kristen and I decide to go and get our bowling shoes because the boys had already gotten theirs. We walk up to the counter and the worker turns to us to help us.

"So what size shoes do you guys need?" The girl asks with a friendly smile on her face.

"I need a size 8." I say

"And I need a size 7 1/2." Kristen says.

"Okay." says the worker. She turns around and heads to the shelf with all the shoes and grabs us both a pair.

"Here you go. Have fun!" Says the worker and we thank her as we grab our shoes and head back over to our lane. We sit down at one of the tables by our lane as we put on our shoes. After Kristen and I get on our shoes we both stand up and Micheal puts all of our names onto the screen.

"So are we all ready to start?" He asks before he starts the game.

"Ugh can I join." I hear the same familiar voice that drives me crazy. I turn around to prove myself right. It was Ashton.

"Ashton, what are you doing here? You said that you were spending the day with Mia." Asks Luke.

"Umm... We kind of broke up." Says Ashton looking down at his feet.

"Wanna play a game with us?" Says Calum trying to change the subject.

"Yeah sure." Says Ashton as he sits down and starts to put on his shoes that he already had.
