The dark side of Deku...

Chapter 2-My World Is Crumbling-

Walking home was duller than
usually. The skies weren't the beautiful vivid colors seemed to have faded. As we made it through the town, the people seemed to scowl and not speak a word. Was the town always like this? I asked myself. We made our way home, mom noticed I was acting different. "Are you okay Izuku?" she asked and messed with my hair. Then I realized I was scaring her. I had to put a fake face on, for her and others. Not that there were any others really... "I'm fine mom, j-just... a little... tired." I wiped my eyes to look like I was sleepy. "Okay... well you can go to bed when we get home. If you want to."
"Yeah." I gave a reassuring smile. She smiled back in relief.

We got into the apartment and I went straight to my room. I pretended to be asleep, but I was watching videos of my hero, All Might. It helped me a little bit. I started to feel a sense of determination, I felt like there was still hope! I came out of my room, wanting to take a walk. To see if things were brighter outside. I made my way through the living room. "Izuku You Scared Me!!" Mom jumped back, I forgot I was supposed to be asleep. "Oh, I'm sorry mom." I did a little laugh, "I was thinking of getting some fresh air. Is that okay?" She looked out the window. It was a pretty day, but i think she was debating if it was going to be safe for me. I was healthy enough to run, but I still was a little vulnerable. "Okay, but come home quickly." I smiled.
"Okay Mom!" I grabbed my journal, like old times. Grabbed my All Might jacket, even though it didn't really help with the cold, I loved it!
As soon as I stepped out, It was so much better than last time. The colors hit me like a bat. I walked for minutes, than hours, the world gave me hope!

I lost track of time and I realized mom was going to be worried. I turned back around and watch the pretty sunset as I walked back home. Then out of nowhere, I was knocked to the ground. I was disoriented, everything was blurry. I tried getting up, but pushed back down, I couldn't hear anything. "Hey nerd, long time no-see." I look up, It's Kaachan. He was my old bully at school, and old old friend. I forgot how sharp his voice was. " Not surprised you didn't make it into UA." He laughed, "School has just started. It's pretty nice there." He laughed again. He let me get up. I struggled, but finally got balanced on my feet. Kaachan was about to say something else, but got Interrupted by a man with spiky hair. "Hey bakugo, there you are! I was looking for you." He stopped when he saw me. "Who's this?" Kaachan looked annoyed. I saw smoke coming out of his hands. "Seriously, Kirishima?" Kirishima put his hands up, like he was surrendering. So his name is kirishima? I've never seen him before. "Wait up, guys!" I heard a voice in the distance. This time it was a guy with yellow hair, he had a lightning bolt in his hair. " When did he get here!?" Kaachan yelled to Kirishima. By this time I felt like Kaachan forgot about me, which was a relief. The guy with the lightning bolt in his hair, reached up to them. "Hi Kanimari!" Kirishima waved to him. Kaachan rolled his eyes. " It's worse enough he's here, but now dumb face is here?!"
"Hey!" Kanimari said, offensively. Kirishima didn't seem to mind him. Also he seemed to not mind Kaachan's yelling. Kaachan looked back at me. It startled me.
He shoved me "Get out of here! Deku!" I was about to walk away, but I felt a burn on my back. All of the sudden, I got shot up, and gravity dragged me back smack into the ground. My All Might jacket was completely ripped in the back, I look back and Kaachan is holding it. I was shocked. He just laughed. And with a smug smile he blew up the rest of the jacket. This time I didn't run or walk away. This made him even more mad. "Oh do you think you could take me on, you quirkless wanna be!" I didn't know what happened, but I just ran. I ran right toward him. But i didn't make it far, before he blew me back. He went right up to my face. "Do you really think you could ever be a hero?" He threw me across. I fell into a sharp bush. He came up to me again. And slapped me so hard, I lost me breath. I was gasping as he said, "Little Deku, You think you could be a hero? You can't even beat a first-year student." He said, Even though we were the same age. Then the words got to me, everything went dull. I couldn't hear anything, besides the muffeled sound of Kirishima and Kanimari trying to get him off of me...
