Taboo

My heart was beating so fast, I could feel it coming out of my chest. My body froze completely and once again somebody knocked the door "Eve? Are you in there?" What in the world? How could someone know that she was in there? Who was it? Eve couldn't stop staring at me, and her face was whiter than cotton, she looked very pale and sick, but she didn't move or say anything. The door Opened, I quickly hid inside an empty room, and there he was, Eve's boyfriend. How did he find us? He ran towards Eve  as fast as he could, I followed him and as soon as he got close enough to where Eve was, I slammed his head towards the wall and he blacked out.  Eve was in complete shock, but she still wouldn't say anything, her eyes told me everything and she was completely scared for her life. 

After a few minutes he woke up, sitting right next to Eve. He was bleeding from his forehead, I had a big stick on my hand to make sure they would be afraid to try anything stupid. My whole plan was going downhill, I got caught looking like I was kidnapping Eve, and now some other guy was inside the house with us. I knew I would go to jail after this, my life was collapsing in a matter of hours, and I was hoping that this was all a nightmare, but then after looking at me for so long, Eve finally said something. "Why? Why are you doing this to us?"  The word "us" triggered something in me, it was like she had flipped a switch inside my head to make me mad, really mad, so I quickly replied " Us?  this boyfriend of yours was not supposed to be here, this plan was perfect. Eve, I know you love me as much as I love you." and she responded "Please let us go! I am begging you, we won't say a word to anyone, just please let us go". 

Was she being serious? after coming this far, and even tough my plan didn't go well, I couldn't let them go or I would go to jail. I needed to be sure they wouldn't go to the police after this, I needed to come up with a plan, another plan one that would work. Isaac, who was Eve's boyfriend decided to do the stupidest thing, that would change everyone's life. He ran towards me and try pushing me, but he wasn't strong enough to throw me in the floor. Lucky for me I still had the stick in my hand and I was able to hit him as hard as I could. I heard his jaw popping louder than a balloon and I saw how his head bounced off the floor like if was a soccer ball. Something inside inside of me drove me to keep him hitting him even when he wasn't moving and there was really warm blood all over my clothes and body. Little by little I started hearing Eve's voice screaming "Stop, please Axel stop" and thats when I noticed that he was already dead. 

I had killed a man, and I didn't even realized it, I had done a horrible thing.  The biggest taboo, the greatest sin and I had committed it. My head started to spin, I felt really dizzy, my legs felt numb and seconds later I started throwing up. I looked up to where Eve was and she wasn't even crying, I think she didn't understand at the moment what had happened. After getting myself back together, there was only one solution that could fixed all of this and I perfectly knew that it had to be done.
