The blackness of the sky reminds me of how I see myself, empty and something no one sees;
It makes the hanging from in my closet call me closer and further to the point of no return.
The twinkling golden stars remind me of the delicate way your eyes looked at me,
For that time, I thought I was as complete as a puzzle perfectly and tenderly put together. However, the feeling of security and love dead as if it were an old cat on the road.
The stare of the silver moon forces my mind to think of the stupid way you used to smile at me,
The way you'd laugh until your sides hurt and until tears peaked from the corners of your eyes;
You haven't laughed like that in a long time...
And the passing shooting star reminds me of how quick you came and gone.
