I'm not sure if you know who Noah is, but he's the boy from Leanna's dreams.

I was told that I share a destiny with a girl, a daughter of Pan. Yet, I've never met her face to face. I used to dream about her until she fell into the labyrinth. That was almost a year ago. Everyone thinks she's dead.

I spend most of my time with Percy, Annabeth, and Nico. They're helping me find Leanna, if she's out there. I know she is, I can feel it. Grover says it's like an empathy link.

Today Nico is sitting on a rock in the woods. I walk over to him. "Um, everything alright?" I ask. Usually Nico is very creepy, but now he just looks sad.

"It's my fault," he says without looking up. "Only three can come back. I should be the one who's gone."

It's kind of hard to argue with that logic, so I don't deny it. Instead I say, "Leanna will come back. She's alive. I know it."

I don't actually know for certain that she's alive, but I want to believe it. Leanna's my future. I haven't even met her, and already I feel like she's the only thing that matters.

I leave Nico to do whatever he does and go back to the Poseidon cabin where Percy and Annabeth are talking.

"The labyrinth is completely gone now," Annabeth is saying. "If Leanna was in there she'd be gone too."

"What if she got out before that?" Percy asks.

"Then she may be alive."

"Where would she be if she's alive?"

"Anywhere in the USA."

Finally I say, "Mm-mm."

Percy and Annabeth look up at me. "Oh um hi, Noah." Percy says. "We were just discussing some theories."

I nod. "Yeah I noticed."

We continue to talk about possible ways that Leanna might still be alive. When the dinner bell rings, we've officially decided that she made it out of the labyrinth, but she could be completely insane.

At dinner I sit with my table, Demeter. I mostly eat grains and fruits. Children of Demeter tend to be vegetarians. Yes, I'm a child of Demeter and I'm destined for greatness. I mean I share a destiny with someone if I haven't mentioned that enough.

After dinner I search for Rachel. For the past month we've been meeting up and discussing what the prophecy could mean. I swear we've gone through hundreds of answers, but we don't know if any of them are right.

Rachel also helps me, along with the Hypnos cabin, with my dreams. After Leanna fell into the labyrinth, the dreams stopped. I don't know why, they just did. Rachel thinks I can contact her.

I find her in her cave drawing a picture of Leanna. She looks up at me.

"Hey." She smiles.

I smile back. "Hi. Ready for pointless thinking?"

Rachel nods and grabs a pen and the notebook we've been using to record our ideas. She flips it open to an empty page.

"Where were we?"

I shrug. "I think we left off at...my past."

I don't like thinking about my past. That's mostly because I don't know what happened. It's one big jumble. Rachel thinks the second line of the prophecy refers to me, that I'll find the past that is true.

Rachel closes her eyes and says, "What if your memories were washed in the River Lethe?"

I stare at her. She opens her eyes and shrugs. "Oracle stuff."

I check the time. It's almost 10:00. I'm so tired I shut my eyes for a moment. My heart aches like a piece of it's missing. Click. My mind catches onto something.

It's a memory. I see a young girl laughing and dancing on perfectly green grass. I'm next to her, laughing too. We don't care about anything, we just laugh and run and be kids. I can't remember who she is and...

The vision changes, just for a second. A picture of Leanna shows up. She looks lost. I barely get a glimpse of her, but her face is clear. She's beyond lost.
