I decided to go where the families were. My dad saw the look on Ashad's face and he knew something was up . His glare was deadly , never leaving my eyes . He finally called me so we can "talk " ..
We left the family to discuss about the wedding.
Dad: Laila your actions towards Ashad will determine whether this marriage will happen
Laila: But dad I don't want to get married I just took a test that will determine my future as a Renowned Businesswoman .....
Dad: ENOUGH!!! Laila I have worked too hard to get this proposal so don't ruin it , all I want is the best for you and Ashad is that person for you .
Don't you feel sorry for the family, I am retiring soon and this marriage will help you and this family, please do it for the family
Laila: My future job will help this family and I don't have to worry about marriage father ...
Dad: How are we going to pay for college Laila?
Laila: I'll work for grandpa in his store and pay for college
Dad: your grandpa has enough workers to pay and hiring you would only make things worse, why can't you grow up and think about your family and forget this job of yours , now do what you're told
Laila: ok sir
Receiving a lot of scolding from my dad , mister arrogant had to be standing there listening
Ashad: Mr. Aamer Laila can continue her studies and I won't mind I'll even finance her studies
Mr Aamer: That would not be necessary because you need a house wife , who's going to take care of you and your future family?
Ashad: Don't worry Mr. Aamer  it's no trouble actually I like that she is determined and has a plan in life .
Dad: ok Ashad  that's wonderful of you.
Ashad: if it's fine with Laila of course.. Laila?
I stood there listening to my life being planned without my consent. It was like i was not even present , to them my life was just like that of ordering a meal or deciding what movie to watch . But it wasn't, It was my LIFE!!!
I was brought out of my thoughts when Lord Arrogant tried talking to me
Laila: huh?? What?
Ashad:  I was asking if it's for me to finance your studies ?
Laila:  For real ??
Ashad: Yea
  I don't know but I just felt like my judgement about him was wrong but  he might want something in return or maybe he's saying this in front of my dad just to please him. Giving out a fake smile I was led out by my dad so he can give the great news about Ass Child ( see what I did there?) generosity. The entire family was happy to hear this news and I was being told to be a good wife blah blah...
I felt my head spinning and I felt like I was going to throw up . I excused my self from the celebration and decided to go and sit on the roof
