As I sat in the classroom, nervously clutching my pen, I saw the test that would determine my future .
Teacher: ok class, you can set your timers to 1 hour and begin your tests

My timer was set but my brain wasn't. I froze up when I saw the questions , they were only eight but damn!!!
were they hard
I tried calming down my nerves by thinking about how famous I'll be when I finish college with good grades. Heck,I might become the first female president for U.C.A (UNITED COUNTRIES OF AFRICA)

           1 hour later 

I finally did my work and I must say I'm proud of it even though my writing was not tidy like usual but it was good
Teacher: Ok, all pens down and please leave your paper at my desk and leave quietly . You'll get your results tomorrow

I am now headed to the judgement table. With each step heavier than the other , I placed my paper on the desk and left, never looking back... 

I got in my car as it waited for me and was greeted by my dad looking all businessed up (not a real word).
I've never been  alone with him before but judging by his sitting position I could tell he meant business
Laila: hey dad
Dad: Laila me and your mother have decided to get u married.
Laila: but I don't want to get married i have dreams that I need to achieve before I can think about marriage
Dad:  Laila I wasn't asking for your opinion , it has already been decided you will meet the boy's family.
Laila:But..
Dad: no buts. It's not your decision to make. Laila we've been trying to keep this from you but, we are in a lot of debt right now that'll take a lifetime for us to pay off. This marriage is going to help us pay off the debt and also secure your future because they are a wealthy family. I know you have a lot  of things you wish to accomplish, and i'll love to see you do that but we just can't afford that but this marriage can. Please do us this favor.
Laila: Ok sir.
