Chapter 2: Toby's Perspective

A million things are running through my head right now. If she does die I don't know what I will do. Kelsey means the world to me.

I never tell people how I feel. I don't have a loud personality. By today my whole has turned around. The love of my life's, life is hanging on by a thread. And I can't do anything for her. So I left the hospital and walked down the street. I walked down the street to the nearest church.

The pastor of the church greeted me with a hug. He said,"I heard about Kelsey, i'm so sorry." I told him," Kelsey can't go towards the light, she's the only thing that I have left in this world." My mom had cancer and Kelsey was there for me every step through the process. And when she died all I wanted to do was lay in bed all day an night listening to sad music. I thought to myself Jesus isn't watching over me; if there is even a Jesus. But Kelsey showed me that there was and that I had to get off of my lazy butt.

Kelsey has the best, biggest, and boldest heart than anyone I have ever known. She could bring anyone out of a bad mood. Out of misery, a heartbreak, out of any kind of mood.

I came to the church today because I need Jesus to answer this one prayer for me. Please, Jesus bring Kelsey out of her a coma so I can see the love of my life again. So I can look into her beautiful big blue eyes. Hear her laugh again; kiss her beautiful lips again. Please, Jesus I'm begging you, please.

Ring,Ring my cell phone started to ring. It was the hospital that Kelsey was at. "Hello, Hello is this Toby. Yes, yes it is, is everything okay with Kelsey." " I'm pleased to tell that Kelsey is waking up as we speak." I immediately hung up on the while she was still talking on the phone and ran to the hospital as fast as I could.

When I got there I was so happy, I thought nothing at this point can disappoint me. When I went up the elevator and up to Kelsey's room. I looked through the glass doors at Kelsey. She was setting there staring at the wall. I started running towards her and a nurse tried to stop me but I wouldn't listen to her. I looked at her a said I love you so much don't you ever leave me or scare me like that again. She looked at me with a confused look on her face. She said,"who are you" I looked over at the nurse and starting screaming at her. "Why didn't you tell me she doesn't remember me or anything else." "I tried but you wouldn't listen to me when I told you to stop, that I had to tell you something."

Kelsey has amnesia she doesn't remember me or all the memories of us together.
