"That can't be possible Lapis. Badr couldn't have been the Pharaohs father!!  Our family has never been blessed with that kind of luck and will never be. " Apophis ranted as she paced around the small room of her Aunt's working space. Lapis was working on a piece for a tapestry that would be hung in the Pharaohs tomb upon his death.

"You know as well as I that miricules occur Apophis. What's to say the Pharaohs not the Sinbad you wrote to. What's to say he is. " Lapis cooed as her niece huffed in frustration and sat before her.

"But how could any of this be possible. The Sinbad I wrote to never tried to reach me when Badr died. He leftand never bothered with me. Now suddenly I meet the man I was writing to and he happens to be the Pharaoh! This isn't possible Lapis!!" Apophis grunted and thumped her head onto the table before her. The large hound by her feet heaved a sigh and rested his head into her lap. His eyes watched the female closly as she processed through everything that had happened in the passed four days. She traveled a day in a half to get to the kingdom of the Pharaoh. Learned he wanted her help. Excepted and then found out he was the friend of her childhood. This all was so sudden. She couldn't handle all of this at once. Lapis noticed the shift in her niece's mood and placed the tapestry piece down. Her worn and aged fingers slid into the scarred and soft hands of her niece as she pulled them close. Apophis looked up into her eyes as Lapis held her hands close to her chest.

"I know how this may feel. But think about this for a moment my little orchid. Sinbad is the man your wrote to in childhood. You sent gifts and kind notes to each other. You became close and formed a bond through the gifts you shared along with the words you sent. Your his friend my Orchid. You must except that

"It may be strange little orchid. Meeting someone you knew little of at the beginning of life slowly learning more and more of one another until death parted the both of you. The death that hurt you and hurt Sinbad made you become closer even if you had not spoken with one another.

"The distance never matter for your hearts where made to be linked together in an unbreakable bond that was built off of trust and the ability to know each  other through simple words written on papers. Apophis, don't loose this man. He is so much more than you can see right now and may never learn until death. Sinbad truly means something to you in this world. Whether you see it now or later you will soon see how much he truly means to your life." Lapis kissed the back of her hands and placed them onto the wooden table looking deep into her kin's eyes. They held suck wisdom from her years of living and her years of learning through pain. She held her niece's hands tightly.

"Learn from me. I have made mistakes of losing a man that meant the world to me. Now don't lose Sinbad my dearest Orchid. Don't push him away as I have with my man." Apophis smiled and held her aunt's hands close before lifting herself up and kissing the forehead of her aunt. She rose up and whistled to the hound underneath the table, walking out after thanking her aunt happily. She walked down the hallways looking around in each room and hallways in search for Sinbad. A smaller lighter haired male noticed the female looking around and smiled catching her attention.

"What are you looking for Miss Apophis?" Jafar asked kindly stopping in his walk to the southern side of the castles with large papers in hand. She smiled and walked to him speaking smoothly to the smaller male.

"I was in search of Sinbad. Do you happen to know where he is?" She asked sweetly. Ja'far nodded and pointed to the western halls. Apophis looked over to the hallways he pointed to.

"He's in the showers. Though I don't think you need to know where those are miss." She nodded and thanked him.

"Thank you. I will wait until he's finished before speaking with him." Ja'far nodded and bid farewell before walking down the hallways to the southern side of the castle. Apophis took a sharp left to her room area. She was quick to enter her room and pick up a piece of clothing Sinbad had the designers make for her. It was a cute piece with a separate top and bottom made to show her curves. This was a big step for Apophis due to her scars on her body she was self-conscious of. She drew a deep breath and dressed herself in the piece. Cerberus rested his body in his bed too tired to care at the point. She patted his head before slipping out to the bathing areas. Though Ja'far had advised against it, Apophis was going to visit Sinbad. Even if he was bathing. She needed to speak with him. Maybe even more..........
