"Taehyung over here!" The older boy waved to the younger.
"Hey Hyung! What did you want to talk about?" The younger questioned.
"It's about Jimin"
"Oh no did something happen to him??" It took Yoongi a second to think of how he was going to respond to the younger.
"Well kinda? Nothing happened to him now just what happened in his past I think you should know about him before you meet and start whatever is happening between you too." Taehyungs flushed a little at that but nodded at Yoongi to continue.
"So you know Jimin and I where friends when we where younger right?" Taehyung nodded again his full attention on Yoongi
"Jimin was always a shy boy. Never talked much but it's wasn't as bad as it is, or was now. His parents where ok. They made mistakes like any other parents. Well when Jimin was like 16ish he figured out that he was gay. I was his best friend and he always knew I was gay so he told me. I knew his parents wouldn't take it the best but I didn't think it would be as bad as it was." Yoongi stopped for a minute.
"When did he tell them? What happened?" Taehyung questioned. He was at the edge of his seat.
"Around a year later he told them. He only told them because I was moving away soon. That's when hell broke loose. His dad took it fine but his mom... not so much. She started beating him when his dad wasn't around. And she probably would have kept at it if I didn't see it and told his dad." Yoongi stopped again. His voice has gotten shaky and his hands are in tight fist by his side. Taehyung put his hand on his hyungs shoulder. Yoongi took a deep breath then continued.
"After that his mom left. But before she did she completely broke my phone. I couldn't get anything from it. And before I could get a new phone or before Jimin would even talk to anyone I had to leave. I left him. When he needed me the most. I still feel like an absolute asshole to this day." Before Yoongi could say much more Taehyung interrupted him.
"That's not your fault though. You didn't want to move." Yoongi just smiled at the younger boy.
"I guess. Anyway the point is Jimin has abandonment issues sense then. He as always had anxiety but after that it clearly got worse. So don't leave him. Be direct with him. Don't leave him guessing. I may be your friend Taehyung but Jimin is my baby brother. I will protect him first." Taehyung stood a little taller at that.
"I promise. I'll make sure Jimin never feels like that again. I mean I am his best friend after all."
