I woke up this morning not expecting to do much today. I checked the time and see that it is 8:30am. I get my phone to see all of my notifications and most of them where from Instagram, but the one that stood out to me was a message from my best friend Venessa.
Venessa: hey, I am going to a party tonight wanna join :) Me: sounds great, who's party is it Venessa: Masson from school Me: ok, what time is the party Venessa: 8 tonight, wanna go to the mall and get dresses for tonight? Me: sure pick me up in about half an hour Venessa: ok see you soon
After my convocation with Venessa I get out of bed and go for a shower, after the shower I get dressed and did my make up. I am wearing an off the shoulder top with ripped jeans.

Once I was done getting ready I make my way downstairs to the kitchen and tried to avoid the lounge room where my step dad is. I make my breakfast (fruit loops) I check my phone to see that the time is 8:50am and Venessa will be here in about 10 minutes. John (my step dad) walks into the kitchen and gives me a confused look.
"Where are you going" he says with a annoyed look on his face
"Out with Venessa" I say confidently
"Did I say you can go out" he says getting a bit louder
"No" I sad trying to hold in my anger
He steps closer to me and raises his hand and slaps me hard, it stings a lot. He grabs my wrist tightly and pushes me making me step backwards hitting the wall behind me. He then closes his and punches my upper stomach making me fall down onto the cold floor.
"Get up you slut!" He yells at me
He takes a grip of my hair and pulls me up then walks away. BEEP!, BEEP! I herd Venessas car so I ran out and get into the passengers seat
"Sup girl" she says happily, "what's wrong" she said realising my sad face
"Just John, you know what he is like"
She knows I don't like to talk about John, so she never asks too many questions
"You ready to shop for a new dress" she asked trying to change the subject. I let it go and just go with the new subject and put on a fake smile.
"Hell yeah, can't wait to go shopping" I said putting on a fake smile
Money has never been a problem with me since I street fight, I earn a lot of money doing that and I also do a lot of babysitting. We arrive at the mall after about half an hour, usually it doesn't take that to get to the shops but there was a lot of traffic today.
We have been walking all day and it is snow 1 o'clock and I am super hungry.
"Can we get food, I am hungry" I said clenching my stomach trying to stop my stomach from rumbling
"Ok crybaby, we can go and get some food" she said annoyed at how much I am complaining
"Hey I am not a crybaby" I said making a fake sad face
After lunch we found a dress for Venessa and we are still looking for me. We have been walking hours and my feet are aching. Look to my left and saw a beautiful dress, it was a short back dress, I nudge Venessa in that direction, at first she was confused but then realised the dress.
"Oh. My. God, that is stunning and would look great on you" she says with excitement in her voice
I walk into the store and get the dress and payed for it. Ok I already have shoes so we can finally go home
"Ok, we can finally go home" I say happily
"Don't seem to happy about that" she said
"Why?" I ask confused
"My brothers friend are there" she replied sadly
"Oh, great" I said sarcastically
We had finally get to her place because we had agreed to get ready at her place. Venessa opens the door and we here Luke and his friends yelling at the t.v (Luke is Venessas brother).
"Hey boys" I said, I get a lot of heys back
"Isabella And I are going to a party tonight so don't wait up" Venessa said to her brother
"Well, don't do anything I wouldn't do" Luke replied
"Ok, so that means we can do everything" I say smiling, all the boys start laughing so hard I am sure some of them had tears in there eyes.
"Hey!" Luke said to me while I was walking upstairs to Venessas room
