Chapter 14

Venessa's P.O.V
Today I woke up to my phone ringing. 

"Hello?"

"Hi is this Venessa Hook" the person on the other side of the call asked

"Yes this is she"

"Hi Venessa this is Ella Grey from the Hopkins Hospital, I am calling regarding your friend Isabella White. She has been admitted to the hospital. Are you able to come down to the hospital" Ella said

"Y-Yes I am on my way" I said hanging up the phone

I quickly get changed and made my way to my car (outfit at the top). But get stoped by my parents

"Hey Venessa, where are you going" my mom asked

"To the Hospital, Isabella has gotten admitted" I said

"Is she ok" my dad asked

"I don't know I am on my way to find out" I said

"Ok be safe and text me what is going on" my mom said

"Ok bye mom bye dad" I said

"Bye" they said in sync

I am on my way to the hospital and I call Ryder but he didn't answer, so I decided to call Cole to see if he knew where Ryder was. He picked up

"Hey, Cole"

"Hi Venessa, what's up"

"Do you know where Ryder is?" I asked

"No he was supposed to come by my place this morning but never showed, why what's wrong" he replied

"It's just that, Isabella was admitted to the Hospital and I can't get ahold of Ryder" I said

"Oh shit, is she ok" he asked

"I don't know yet I am almost at the hospital" I said

"Ok, I will call Landon and we'll meet you at the hospital" he said

"Ok, I'll see you soon" I hung up

I am now at the hospital and I was running up to the front desk and I asked where Isabella is. They said she is on the fifth floor. Before I could do anything Cole and Landon showed up.

"Hey, do you wanna ask the lady if there is a patient named is Ryder here" I asked

"Yeah one sec" Cole said walking up to the desk

He walked back and said "Ryder and Isabella where in a car accident, Ryder went through surgery because of some internal bleeding but is now out of surgery and is on the fifth floor"

"Ok, Isabella is also on the fifth floor, let's go" I said

We are all in the elevator and we are almost at the fifth floor. We have made it to the fifth floor and the boys went to Ryder's room and I am went to Isabella's room. I am in her room and all I can see are cuts and bruises on her face and she is crying, I ran up to her and pulled her into a tight hug.

"is Ryder ok" she asked sobbing

"I don't know yet" I replied "all I know is that he had surgery but now he is ok"

"I wanna see him" she asked worried

"I think you should rest" I said "are the babies ok?"

"Yes they are fine, the doctors wanna keep me in to keep an eye on them because they where a little distressed because of the crash" she said

"Can you please go check on Ryder to make sure he is ok" she asked

I nodded and walked out of her room and went to Ryder's room and saw him awake talking to some woman in her late 30s. I think she is his mother, I knock on the door and he told me to come in.

"Venessa this is my mother" he told me

"Hi Mrs Black I am Venessa, Ryder and Isabella's friend" I extended my arm and she shook it.

"Um, Ryder. Isabella wants to know if your ok" I said

"Tell her I am perfect and there is nothing to worry about"

"Ok that's good" I said

I walked out of his room and went back to Isabella's room.

"He told me he is fine and for you not to worry" she sighed in relief

Isabella's P.O.V
I sighed in relief when I heard that Ryder is ok. Venessa left and I asked the nurse if I could see my boyfriend. She said that was fine, I just have to be careful. I walk out of my room and walk to Ryder's room. I open the door and he smiled instantly.

"Come here" I walked over to him and he moved over and pat the spot next to him. I walked over and laid down.

"How are you and my babies" he asked

"We are ok, the doctor told me to take it easy because the twins got distressed from the car crash, but we are fine, how are you"

"I am fine just a little sore from the surgery" he said "and my parents are here"

"What?!?!, you know they hate me" I said

"They don't hate you, they just dislike you" his parents walk into the room looking disappointed. I decided to stand up for us

"I know you don't like me, but I am the mother of Ryder's unborn children. You can hate me all you want but these kids need grandparents, my mom died when I was young and my dad left before I was born. Can you just find it in your heart to love these kids. Weather you like it or not you have two grandchildren and you need to care and not erase out your son because he has kids! We can not change the past but we can control the future. I want my kids to have grandparents, and since my parents aren't here you need to step up as their grandparents" by the time I was finished talking I didn't realise that I was crying. Ryder hugged me and was stroking my hair

"Ok, I will be here for my son and his kids, I am s-sorry for the way I acted, I am so sorry" Ryder's mom said sadly
