This was not how I planed today going.
I planed waking up and going to school feeling excited, and happy. I thought that today would be the best day of my life, that I would instantly be popular seeing as i'm a legacy student. However that was not what happened.
I woke up to my alarm clock screaming at me, I had overslept and was late . I had to hurry up, throw on some clothes, and do something with my hair. I ended up looking like a buffoon. I had the academy's Uniform on, a white long sleeved, lace, button up with a red bow attached to the collar, and a long gray and pink striped skirt that began at my waist and ended right above my knees, I had thrown my hair up into a bun and to call it messy is a bit of an understatement.
It took me 15 minutes to get to Cypress Academy, so by the time I got there my teacher was already 30 minutes into the lesson. I was nervous to enter the room seeing as I knew the students would stare at me. I finally got the nerve up and opened the door, when the teacher looked over at me, the first thing she said was " You're late" and then pointed to the open seat in the back of the classroom.
The teacher continued to talk after I took my seat. She was saying something about the founders of the academy. soon she finished and told us that we could do whatever we wanted for the remainder of the class, which gave us 14 minutes left to do anything. I felt a tap on my shoulder and looked over. There smiling at me were two identical faces, they must have been twins. One was a girl with short brown hair ,which caused my hair to look black in comparison, and next to her was a boy with dirty blond hair. The girl was wearing a identical uniform to mine, and the boy was wearing the male version but instead of pink strips, there were black strips.
" Hi, I'm Gwyn, and this is my brother Taylor. Your Jessie McCoy right?" Gwyn asked. " yeah, how did you know?" " It's not everyday that a new legacy student arrives" she had replied. We continued to talk until the bell rang, I had found out the Gwyn and Taylor were twins, and that this was there second year, I also learned that while Taylor loved sports and was on the basket ball team, Gwyn had more of a knack for writing and she was on the schools yearbook comity.
The rest of my classes leading up to lunch were all spent talking to Gwyn and Taylor. When the bell rang, we all got up simultaneously and headed toward the cafeteria. We had a choice between eating inside or going out and eating on the lawn, we all had decided that it would be better if we ate outside.
Once we got outside they started pointing towards people, and calling out their names. "The person heading toward us is Austin, he's on the basket ball team and is Taylor's best friend". Austen soon made it over and Gwyn introduced us. He had dirty brown hair that curled around his face, a tan complexion, and blue eyes. Gwyn continued to point out people when a girl came stomping over to us. The girl had bright blond hair with brown eyes and a annoyed expression on her face. " Your the new Legacy wannabe?" she spat out at me " I'm not a wannabe, i'm a legacy student, my mother went to this academy" I proclaimed back, but she didn't listen. " Ok, well if you wan't to be a legacy, you have to win my challenge" she proclaimed, " I don't care about your stupid challenge" " Oh, you will, because if you don't complete it , i will ruin your reputation, and make the rest of the year a living hell for you. I challenge you to make Nick Kelly fall for you" After shouting at me she left, leaving me confused and dazed. " Who's Nick Kelly I turned and asked Gwyn but before she could answer, Aaron turned to me " My brother" he said then got up and walked off.
