Chapter 12

Bella's POV

Edward has still been ignoring me, it hurt... I didnt know what his problem was? I dont think I did anything to him, but I could be wrong. 

I found out I was pregnant, Nessie was right! This pregnancy was different from Nessie's though, Carlisle guesses Im going with the nine month rule, but he cant see the baby, just like last time. 

We still didnt have answers to what had happened to me, maybe I as just crazy and imagening everything? They all felt real, but they werent... I had no idea! I was so confused.

We were all in the living room, talking quietly to each other, in our own little worlds. 

Edward was playing the piano quietly with Nessie, Jake was sleeping peacefully in the corner in wolf form, Alice was sketching drawings of different clothing with Rose, Esme was sitting on Carlisle's lap, and Emmett and Jasper were playing video games on the floor. 

I looked, well was five months pregnant, and my belly was already getting big, like really big!

I couldnt help but feel empty, my body, my mind, my whole being felt... gone! Edward has been ignoring me, we haven't talked in months! It was bothering me, and since im pregnant, my emotions have doubled! I cant help the tears that come and go. 

I set my book down that I had been reading, and got up off the couch. 

"I... I need some... air." I said getting everyone's attention. I was hurt, my face was pale, I have to leave to stop myself from crying in front of everyone, I couldnt cry in front of everyone. 

"Do you want me to come with you?" Alice asked, I paniced and shouted "No!" 

Wrong move.

"I mean... I just... need to be alone right now." I looked down, not meeting anyone's eyes. I was too afraid of letting them see the emotions in my eyes, the tears filling in them. 

"Okay." She said in a quiet voice.

I thought of Charlie to keep myself calm, I couldnt let them see me cry, I wouldnt let them see me cry! I looked at everyone's faces for a quick second, they were all staring at me except Edward, who was looking at Alice. Her face was lost, she was having a vision.

A gasp exacped her mouth and Edward's. It probably didnt concern me anyways, so I walked out of the door into the big open forest. 

"Someone stop HER!" Alice's voice yelled.

I continued walking, slowly. 

"Bella!" I heard Edward call from behind me. 

I turned around walking backwards. "What do you want Edward?" I snarled. 

He winced at my harsh words.

"So what did Alice see that has made you come out for me? I thought you'd just continue ignoring me like you have been for the past... who knows how long?" A tear rolled down my cheek. 

"Bella, let me explain." He pleaded.

I stepped more into the forest. "So what's out here? Something dangerous? Someone dangerous?" 

He came closer to me. "Bella." He warned.

I stepped further in. "Go back home Edward! You dont have to take care of me, I'm a big girl! I can take care of myself.. and our baby... why dont you just go back to ignoring me? That might just work... your good at that!" 

He growled, and grabbed ahold of me. "I do have to take care of you, you're MINE! You dont know how hurt I've been the past months away from you, but I couldnt bare to face you." He admitted. "I am scared Bella, I wasn't that great of a father the first time! Your staying with me, your not leaving my sight!" He told me.

I froze.

All my anger disapeared, I felt guilty. He admitted the truth to me, he was scared to be a father again... he wasnt ignoring me because he was mad! I felt relief wash through me.

A low growl rumbled in Edward's throat. I was confused, what had I done? But then I realized the growl wasnt for me. 

A twig snapped behind us, I turned my head into the dark forest, and then suddenly gasped at who I saw.
