"just for a moment, let's stay like this." he nodded into her embrace and stroke her back, letting her relax in his embrace.

everything felt wrong; she was with him, yet she was thinking of her. she didn't know why. being with him felt right, but even so, it felt wrong as well.

she has a doubt in her feelings, and she doesn't know why. she chose this, right? she chose him, right? but why is having second feelings whenever chaeyoung slips away from her?

"jennie, are you okay?" jongin asked, in the most gentle way. this man, she couldn't probably break his heart... that even another person she loved, she broke. and she feels shit because of that.

she smiled, humming in response. "nini, can you take me back home now?" she asked and he nodded his head. "okay," seeing that she may not feel good or may be a bit dizzy, he nodded his head slightly.

"are you okay?" he asked and she nodded her head. "i'm okay, you don't have to worry about me all the time." she said and he nodded his head, smiling. when in fact, he's worried about her.

as they arrived, he opened the door for her and she smiled at him, "thank you." she said and he nodded. without anything more, she enters the dorm and fell onto the couch. the dorm is still boring and quiet as usual. no more lalisa and chaeyoung shouting, bickering. no more jisoo running after the two, and scold them after they break a vase or two.

jennie sighed on the cushion and lie down on her back, staring at the ceiling. a sigh left her lips as she made her own arm her pillow.

"why.. why am i still thinking about you chaeyoung-ah? i chose this, didn't i? i chose to be with him, yet i... i still have a doubt."

she sat up. "he's a good man and all he ever did was love me in the best way he could, yet here i am.. thinking of another person." just as she was curling down on the couch, the door opened.
