Sleeping Beauty [Camren]

Ally, Normani and Dinah watch the bonfire from the great hall. All were trying to figure out how to save the young princess. The king had posted his two best generals at the door to the nursery, taking extra precaution. The three fairies knew that this would not be enough to save her from the evil Maleficent.

"Silly fiddle faddle!" Ally huffs angrily, floating back to where Normani and Dinah sat by the thrones.

Normani tsks, using her wand to conjure three teacups and pot. "Now, come have a nice cup of tea, Ally. I'm sure it'll all work out somehow."

Dinah scoffs, rolling her eyes as Normani fills her cup with tea. "Well, a bonfire won't stop Maleficent."

"Of course not!" Ally exclaims, taking her cup from Normani. "But what will?"

"Well— perhaps if we reason with her—"

"Reason?!"

"With Maleficent?!"

"Well she can't be all bad!" Normani tries to justify, glancing between the two stunned fairies.

"Oh yes she can!" Ally floats back to the window, staring down at the bonfire with a contemplative look on her face.

"Oh I'd like to turn her into a fat ole hoptoad!" Dinah hops in her seat, seething with anger at the thought of the old witch.

"Now, dear, that isn't a nice thing to say," Ally chastises, frowning at her.

"Besides, we can't" Normani reminds her, an eyebrow raised as she stirs her tea with her wand. "You know our magic doesn't work that way."

"It can only do good, dear, to bring joy and happiness." Ally adds with a nod, floating in front of them, almost pacing in the air in thought.

"Well that would make me happy." Dinah mumbles into her teacup.

"We've got to do something." Ally states definitively, the flames from the fire reflecting in her eyes, matching those within her. "The King and Queen mean well..."

"But a bonfire and two guards won't stop Maleficent." Dinah finishes, a scowl on her face.

"It seems to me that the best thing to do is to make the princess disappear, but still be right under nose. Somewhere she'll never suspect." Normani sighs, not noticing Ally's face lighting up with an idea.

"That's it!" she exclaims excitedly. "That's it!"

"What?" the other two ask, exchanging glances.

"I'll..." Ally starts to say but cuts herself off. "Shhh...even the walls have ears."

Ally looks around warily. Maleficent has her spies everywhere. What could look like the safest place in the world could be where she placed most of her spies. She notices a small cupboard where Karla's dishware was kept in.

"Follow me." Ally instructs, using her wand to shrink herself as much as she can. Normani and Dinah follow her actions, making themselves miniscule as well. Ally leads them into the cupboard and closes the door, locking it behind them.

"I'll turn her into a flower." Ally announces brightly.

"Maleficent?" Dinah questions, an eyebrow raising.

"No, the princess."

"She'd make a beautiful flower." Normani replies.

"Don't you see? A flower can't prick it's finger!" Ally explains excitedly.

"It hasn't any." Dinah exclaims, getting the idea now.

"That's right! She'll be perfectly safe." Ally adds happily, proud of herself for coming up with the idea.
