With every single step she felt like her feet were burning. Her heart felt heavy and her tears threatened to fall as the fear of facing this family engulfed her heart.

Life was never easy for Anika. A six years old child doesn't even know what death is. But she saw her parents dieing infront her eyes. Her mother and her father's cries still used to echo in her ears and gave her chills down her spine.

But still she learned to smile, for others, for her family. She trusted SOMEONE more than her own self but she was betrayed by the same person. Her whole life shattered into pieces just because of that person.

Her thoughts came to halt when she came and stood at the entrance of OBEROI MANSION. She was supposed to enter this house as a bride, as a daughter in law of this house. But only if her fate wasn't cruel to her, only if fate didn't have any enmity with her.

"You !" She heard someone exclaim and her heart started beating faster than ever. Listening to Janvi's voice, everyone gathered in the hall. As soon as they saw Anika RAJVANSHI standing there, they were confused.

"Why she's here ?" Was the only question running in their minds. Wasn't she the same girl who insulted them a year ago ? Then what she was doing here now ?

"Welcome ! Ms Rajvan... oops sorry. You're no more a Rajvanshi. Tch tch ! It's so bad that the girl who used to boast about her Surname, is now left with nothing." Anika heard Shivaay, her once supposed to be groom taunting her. She felt like running from here and hide herself somewhere nobody would be able to find her. But remember ? Her cruel fate ?

"Billu, what's all this ? And what's Anika doing here ?" Dadi looked at Anika and then questioned from Shivaay.

"Yes Shivaay. Why she's here and how do you know the reason of her being here ?" Pinky asked the question that was actually running in everyone's mind.

"She's Prinku's wedding planner." Shivaay announced leaving everyone shocked. Why would this girl, Anika, who was the daughter of The Rajvanshis, work as a wedding planner ?

"I'll clear your confusion. I asked the event management company to send their best employee for the arrangements of Prinku's wedding functions. So they introduced me to her. I was also shocked like you all. But then I thought, MAY BE EVEN HER FAMILY REALISED THAT SHE'S JUST TRASH, THAT'S WHY THEY ABANDONED HER." Shivaay said, last line having said by looking at Anika. She felt her head spinning. She had been crying over her miseries since so long and now tears burned her eyes.

"Billu ! Mind your words. That's how you talk about a girl ?" Dadi reprimanded Shivaay from saying things to Anika. She knew that Anika behaved really bad with them, but her old and experienced eyes couldn't lie and these experienced eyes could see the pain Anika's eyes held. She could feel something wrong in her actions even THAT DAY, and now too Anika's eyes were shouting that it was all a lie.

"She deserves this, Dadi. Anyway, I don't care about her. All I care about is my sister's wedding. That has to be the best and if she's the best wedding planner then she will work here." Shivaay said and everyone knew his decisions were hard to change and nobody wanted to change them either.

"Anika, come. I'll show you your room. You will be able to work properly there." Surprisingly, Pinky said to Anika with a sweet smile and Anika looked bewildered at her.

"I'll also come with both of you as we have to discuss many things." Said Janvi and smiled.

Soon everyone dispersed to their their respective works. Om and Rudra followed Shivaay to talk to him because they knew all this wasn't easy for Shivaay. They reached Shivaay's room and looked at him who was trying to concentrate on his work.
