When someone is yours and you want them to be close to you always, you have to fight for them. No matter how much people oppose you, how many hurdles you have to cross, you have to be brave and fight them. And he wasn't going to back out. He had wasted five precious months of their life in his stupidities and fears, no more fears now. She was his life and he was never going to let her go.

Anika supported him to come out of the car as they reached the palace. But Shivaay, instead of getting support from her, held her hand tightly and went inside the palace. Everyone looked at Anika and they took a sigh of relief seeing her safe and sound. But turning towards Shivaay their breathes hitched. His blood soaked shirt made them scared.

Om and Rudra narrated the whole incident to the family whereas Pinky was oblivious to everything except Shivaay. She was caressing his face and checking him again and again.

"I'm fine, Mom. There's nothing to worry about." Shivaay consoled Pinky but Anika glared him angrily, making him shut his mouth.

"Thank you so much, Shivaay. If you weren't there I can't even imagine what would have happened. Thank you so much for saving my Bulbul" Arpita expressed her gratitude.

"You don't have to thank me, Aunty. I've saved my life." Said Shivaay to Arpita and the last line was almost a whisper which was heard only by Arpita and Anika.

"Thank you, Shivaay. If my daughter is safe, it's all because of you. Thank you." Manish also thanked Shivaay. Shivaay nodded negatively and Manish hugged him. Whole hugging him Manish's hand touched Shivaay's wound due to which, Shivaay winced in pain, making Anika panicked.

"He is not fine. I'm taking him to his room. He needs rest. Shivaay let's..." Anika declared and she was going to ask Shivaay to come with her but he stopped her and stood up from his seat.

"Di, we will take him. You don't worry." Said Neil to Anika and she looked at him angrily. She held Shivaay more firmly and asked him to come with her but Shivaay stopped her.

"What's happening, Anika ? He saved your life, fine. But You don't have to be with him all the time." Viraj jumped into the matter, earning an angry glances by Shivaay.

"Y..yes di, come with us. You also must be tired. Omkara ji and Rudra are there to take care of Shivaay bhaiya." Gauri said to Anika and Anika looked at her angrily. Anika saw the Singh family looking at her and Shivaay with a look of disappointment and she knew what they might be thinking.

When Manish saw that Anika wasn't ready to leave Shivaay, he himself took Anika's hand out of Shivaay's hand. But before he could take Anika away, Shivaay again held Anika's hand and pulled her towards himself gently yet firmly.

"Yeh haath abb kabhi nahi chhutega, uncle. Yeh galti mai ek baar kar chuka hun, dobara nahi karunga.(These hands are never going to be apart. I've done this mistake once, I won't repeat it.)" Shivaay said to Manish. The whole Oberoi family looked happy with this step of Shivaay. Anika was the happiest person when she saw Shivaay's eyes blazing with the determination to fight for their love.

"What are you saying, Shivaay ? Just stop this non sense." Manish spoke and looked at Anika who was looking at Shivaay with a look of admiration.

"Uncle, I know I had hurted Anika. I don't regret marrying her. (To Om) Om, you remember you said to me that I wanted to marry Anika ? Yes. That day I denied but deep down my heart I wanted to marry her, any how. Tia's ploy gave me a reason. The days spent with Anika were the most beautiful days of my life. Anika was the support I always craved for, she was the solace that I needed. Simply her presence used to make me feel good. Anika's absence made me realise what she is to me. The day I was going to loose her I... I realised how precious she was to me, even more than my own life. I regret the way I married her. I regret giving divorce to her. But I don't regret loving her and I don't want to add one more regret in my life. I don't want to let her go because...she is mine. I know I realised it late but one thing I'm sure about is, I won't let Anika go away from me. I will make it up for every mistake I did in the past. Her every tear will be compensated by numerous happy moments. I will protect her even if that means to die myself. I'll fight for her even if the whole opposes me." Shivaay said to Manish looking straight into his eyes.
