You wanted her to care for you

You want her to trust you

You wanted her by your side

You wanted to love her

You wanted to cherish her 

You thought since I can't have her, I'll remain friends 

Till my time comes

But what you didn't know is that you stayed friends till the bitter end. 

You wanted him to care for you 

You wanted to trust him

You wanted to feel loved

You wanted to cherish him

You wanted to stay by his side till the bitter end

Till death do you apart 

But you remained as friends till the bitter end

Both wanted to be together but both thinking it was a one sided love. So they hid their true feeling to still be at each other's side. Till the day they would confess. But in never came. They remained as friends till the bitterly sweet end.
