Cold, brisk air wandered around the empty school corridors. No teacher, no student on sight, only two particular middle school students. A girl... and a boy. Both were arguing about something- something heartbreaking to one, and foolish to the other.

"Y-You cheated on me!"

She used the sleeve of her jacket to cover her cries, but it wasn't enough to stop her tears. She was devastated, she thought he loved her.

He shrugged, slumping his shoulders back. "You were becoming boring for me. I needed a little excitement."

More tears fell out of her eyes. She was nearly on her knees, sobbing from this moment. It was one of the saddest moments of her life, as she was engaged with him for quite a while. He was the one who changed everything in her life after all.

So I wasn't good enough for you. She thought.

He yawned, turning his back to her. "If you're going to keep crying, then I guess I'll go. You were a good girl, mi amor."

But before he sped off on his heels, she held him back, grabbing on the bottom of his jacket. He turned around, seeing anguish on her face.

"So what now... You're not going to give it back, aren't you," she says, faltering her tone at the end. She stands up straight, wiping her tears.

He smirks. "Why should I? I'm the rightful owner, it basically belonged to me in the beginning. And plus... I didn't break any rules. I only curved them."

She grips on the jacket tighter, nearly ripping it. He frowns. Her tears stop, it formed into something even more emotional. She looks up to him, meeting eye to eye.

"You knew you were going to break up with me, that's why you bet it against me and not with me. Because you knew in the rules... How fucking disgusting."

He shakes her hand off of the jacket, glaring at her with a smile. "Disgusting, not the right word. Clever is better. I was surprised how easily I could get a hold of such a valuable item. Hell, it's not even yours."

And just with a second, she whipped her hand across his face, leaving a bright red mark on both her hand and his cheek. He stared at her, in awe. She left no expression. She turned her heel, letting her shoes clack on the floor as she picked up her belongings and walked further down the hall.

"I'm done, I'm leading Superior Suit now. Find yourself your own Suit."

His eyes widened. "You can't fucking do that. You have no rig-"

"You played dirty with the rules. Then so will I."

He holds back his anger, covering it with a smile. She could hear his frustration, but it mattered no more to her. He knew that it was somewhat not against the rules that she could lead the Superior Suit, but never thought she had the guts to continue it.

But now...

She only wanted it now.

Alice and Jamie fell into deep conversations, most of them just being modern questions asked by Alice. She always wondered what life was like here now, if her favorite water fountain still existed, and if they even go to the beach. She was so fascinated by Jamie's answer, to the point where she just asked any question.
