Aftermath

"Aw- hey! That's the fourth flick I received for the past 7 minutes! I beg to differ that I deserve those!" Pang pouted as he rubbed his forehead. Wave is giving him an extra hard time because of how /slow/ he was.

"It almost took you a week to come back, idiot." Wave clucked his tongue with slight irritation. He believes that a huge amount of time were already wasted. He even started to think on leading the whole gifted section by himself because of Pang's delay.

"It's the best I could do! What do you expect from me?" As if asking for forgiveness from Wave. He isn't that easy to win over and everyone knows that.

Well, it's not that he had a hard time remembering. A strong gut feeling was already in his sense right after that bump of him and Wave. He got to overthink things, as if remembering something he never have memory of. It was only /one time/ he gets to check the gifted pin that fell during the bump, on a Friday night. That evening, he visited their classroom and saw everyone there. Everybody has been waiting for him.

"Plus! It was your fault for bumping on me late! Hmp!" Pang is even fake-sulking now. To say it directly, he's disappointed of himself too for taking too long. But he, somehow, remembered that he's still that class 8 dumbass student, Pang, except he can manipulate things now.

"Pang, Wave bumped on you last Monday." Namtan inserted. She just arrived and felt the need to go against Pang, too.

"Oh."

"Tsk." Wave, for the second time. He stood up and made his exit. Pang rolled his eyes and went after him immediately.

What happened wasn't a big deal, but he sure knows he owes his bestfriend big time.

The rooftop, of course. Wave can still remember how he locked Namtan up here because he doesn't wanna involve her in that stupid game thing. It was useless though, Namtan was able to escape and they were able to stop him.

The electricity-controlling boy shook his head at that memory. He was so petty during that time, it's too embarrassing to recall.

"This is where we made our duo!" Pang jumping out of nowhere. He looked giddy.

"Our duo that failed."

"Hey, we almost did it! The director is just extra powerful that time." Pang can still remember the thrill feeling of defeating their director. He was hopeful that time, but now he's convinced /they/ can do it this time.

"You manipulated Ms. Ladda to remove our potential! That wasn't even in our plan!" Wave said, sounding slight horrified. Although he's moved on from proving everyone what's he's capable of, Wave has fully accepted his potential and planned on living with it for the rest of his life.

"Yeah, that... I'm sorry. That was a very selfish move. I just really thought what I want would be the good for everyone. I failed to consider the other things." Pang admitted as he ducked his head. Maybe because of shame, realizing how selfish he was during those times.

Wave side-smiled as he eyed the dimpled boy. He knows Pang had realized his mistakes by now, and he's glad he was able to. Even so, after all that had happened, Wave was somewhat really proud of the well-planned strategy both of them came up. It was a sure-win if the director is not such an ass. Apparently, Wave appreciated Pang's efforts more than the /selfish/ deed he had done.

He approached the taller one and patted Pang's head then ruffled his hair.

"You did good, Pang. But let's do our best this time." Wave said, encouraging the other one.

Pang stared at him with a smile on his face. Of course, now that they're all in this together. They will be able to give just to all the wrong-doings their director has done. Especially to the past gifted students in their school.

"As long as you stay with me, we'll accomplish it this time." Wave blinked before breaking the eye-contact, looking away to hide the light blush appearing from his cheeks.

"Idiot! I was with you last time, too!" Pang laughed, not missing the faint blush on his partner-in-crime's face.

Yep, he's sure he'll accomplish it this time. As long as Wave is with him. As long as the others are with him.

This isn't just his fight anymore, this is their fight. All of them.
