It's been a few week now since I've escaped from the horrid place and I have yet to leave the lake I've found. I keep wondering who that strange being was that killed those men the day I escaped and sighed as I rested against the edge of the lake making sure to keep my tail in the water. My tail had finally fully reformed and it was as strong as before when I was with my sisters and it was back to it's dark blue color making me smile.

As I rest on the edge of the lake I cried out to see if I could hear my sisters only to gain silence in return making me sigh and look down.
"I have no idea where I am nor do I have a way to get home. I cry and cry out for my sisters but nobody answers my call. What am I to do?" I said to myself and started singing not expecting to attract the attention of anyone .
Slender's p.o.v.
I left the mansion feeling a migraine forming as I rubbed my temples. I never thought those idiots could be more annoying until today. I sighed and decided to take a walk around my woods and perhaps eat a child while I was at it. As I'm walking my thought turned to the event that happened a few weeks ago near that lake. I still didn't understand why those men were there. We're they looking for something? It couldn't have been a person because I didn't sense anyone else there.
I sighed as I thought about what happened feeling my migraine returning and decided to go to the lake to see if I could find anything. On my way there I didn't sense anyone but to my surprise I heard singing coming from the direction i was heading. I followed the voice to the lake and found a young woman resting on the edge of the lake with her lower half in the water as she sang. Her voice was mesmerizing and I almost found myself drawn to it. I hid behind a tree and watched her as she sang for awhile to see if she would do anything before going closer to her.
She must've sensed my presence because she stopped singing and turned to face me. We stared at each other in silence for a moment before she dove under the water without a word trying to get away. I quickly wrapped my tendrils around her and pulled her out of the water stunned when I found she had a tail instead of legs. She struggled in my hold as I examined her and let out an ear piercing screech making me wince and cover her mouth.
"That's quite enough of that" I said irritated and she looked at me not in fear but anger as she continued to struggle in my hold. When I touched her tail with my tendril to see if it was real or not she growled in response and smacked my tendril away with her tail while glaring at me and I noticed her change as she glared at me.

I watched in awe as she went from an innocent looking woman to the creature before me. I didn't get much of a chance to examine her as she bit me and I dropped her back into the watcher wher she dove under before resurfacing and screeching at me again. From what I could tell she was either warning me to back off or calling out to something.
"So she sees me as a threat" I thought and decided to see if she would or could in fact speak.
"Relax child I'm not here to hurt you" I said calmly however she seemed to still have her doubts as she didn't say anything and continued to stay on alert for any signs of danger. I sighed realizing it was t going to be easy to gain her trust and decided to introduce myself in hopes she would do the same.
"My name is Slenderman but you may call me Slender. What is your name child?" I asked and she stayed silent for a moment before responding.
"Azura"
"Pardon?"
"My name is Azura" she replied calmly but had yet to change back letting me know she still had her doubts about me.
"It's a pleasure to meet you Azura. Might I ask what are you?" I asked hoping to get a bit of information from her. Thankfully she seemed to be a bit more willing to speak.
"I'm a siren"
"Where did you come from? You certainly aren't from around here."
"I was taken from my sisters years ago and recently escaped the facility I was held in a few weeks ago. Those men you killed were after me to take me back." She answered and I thought about it for a moment. That would make sense of why she is here and what those men were doing here.
"Well why haven't you gone home?" I asked confused why she was still here if she was free now.
"I don't know where I am. I've cried for my sisters but they won't answer me or they can't hear me. I also have no way to get there so I'm stuck here." She answered finally changing back to the young woman from before. I took this as a sign she didn't find me a threat anymore and took a step closer and noticed she seemed upset.
"Can you walk on land at all?" I asked getting an idea and she nodded.
"If I'm out of the water long enough my tail will turn into legs." She explained and I nodded.
"I can give you a home if you'd like. You may come back here anytime you wish." I offered and she looked up at me and smiled a little.
"I'd like that but what's the catch?" She asked and I chuckled. She caught on quickly, that's good.
"You will be my new proxy"
"And what will I be doing exactly?"She asked resting against the edge of the lake.
"You will be helping keep the residents there in order. If I am not present then you are in charge." I answered and she thought about it for a minute before answering.
"Deal"
Azura's p.o.v.
"Good now follow me I'll show you to the mansion." Slender said before walking away and I watched him tapping my fingers on the ground wondering when he would notice I wasn't following. I smiled when he turned around seemingly confused when he didn't see me behind him and waved from my spot in the water making him chuckle and walk back to me.
I looked up at him innocently and he shook his head chuckling.
"I said I could walk, I never said immediately "
"I see that I'll carry you until your legs form." He said wrapping a tendril around my waist and picking me up before carrying me towards the mansion. About halfway there my tail had turned to legs and Slender set me down as I started walking beside him and looked up at the mansion before me.
"So this is to be my new home huh? I hope this works."
