Jughead or Archie?

The closet

Betty's POV

"Tomorrow is night of the dance!!!!! I'm so excited Kev!" "I know Betts you need to go get him tiger" then all the sudden Kevin looks out the window. "Wow Archie's gotten HOT!" He says as I look at him putting his shirt on at the same time as me, I grab my phone and text him.

B: hey wyd!
A: NM
B: meet me at pops in ten?
A: of course

"Kev I'm going to pops call you later?" "Yup!"

At pops

I get to pops and go to our normal booth. A few minutes later Archie walks in and sits across from me. "Hey, Betts how the intern ship go?" "Good but anyway I was wondering..." I realize that he isn't paying attention to me his eyes are on a raven hair girl who has just walked in with a long black coat. "Arch?" He doesn't hear me He is to busy asking if she would like to sit with us she excepts his offer and sits next to him and all the sudden I feel like I'm a third wheel on a date I get up and run out. I can hear him yelling after me of course he noticed now but I don't stop I keep on running until I get home I run up stairs and go in my bed and dig my face in my pillow. A few minutes later I grab my phone and text Kevin

B: Kev we need to talk
K:do I need to come over?
B: yes!
K: ok be right there

Kevin gets here and asks what happened I tell him what happened. "Kev I don't know what to do! He likes her not me!!" I feel a tear fall out of my eye but he wipes it away. "Babe you need to impress him tomorrow night and ask him to go to the dance with you!"

Tomorrow morning

I wake up to and alarm it's 6 am I go down stairs and it smells amazing! Moms making breakfast! "Hey mom" "Hey Betty." I sit down and eat. After I go up stairs and get dressed in my normal stuff, pink short dress with leggings. Then there is a knock at the door before I could do my makeup. It's Archie of course the one person I don't want to see right now. I try to close the door but his foot was in the way so I go up stairs. And close my door. Then I do my makeup even though he was in the room. Then I grab my backpack and before I go I ask "You coming?" He nods and follows. It was an awkward walk to school no talking just a few weird glances.

At school

Surely the new girl wouldn't be here because if she was then I'd have to show her around and I do NOT want to do that. I see Jughead and run up to him! "Finally no more awkwardness!" I said with glee he laughs and starts walking.

Later

It's lunch time and I sit at our normal table with Jughead then Archie comes and sits next to us on the other side of the table. "Hey Arch can I listen to one of your songs?" "Sure betts." After a few minutes it ends and it was amazing! "Wow Arch!" I say as Kev comes and sits next to us then all the sudden Veronica comes out of nowhere and says "What we listening to?" "Nothing, anyway I gotta go I have practice with Miss Grundy." "Ok bye Arch!" "So anyone got dibs on Archikins?" V asks Kevin answer for me. " actually yeah! Betty here does she like likes him and has forever!" "Oh really!?" She says "Well let's get to our Tour!" I say so i do my thing by giving her tour and a little bit later Kevin walks up and I say "Oh V this is Kevin he is" I was cut off by her saying "Gay omg yes! Let's be best friends!!!!" She said while taking his hand. And once again I was left alone.

The end of the day.

I sat down then all the sudden I felt someone grab me I turn around and see Veronica. "There is football practice now is your chance!" She said to me while pushing me I tried to stop her but she was to strong. When she stopped we were in front of the football players Archie saw us and jogged over to us. "Hey guys what are you doing here?" "Well Betty has something to ask you and it may or may not involve the dance!" V said there was no way of getting out of this! "Yeah betts?" He said looking into my eyes. "Well you see Arch I was wondering if you would like to go to the dance with.....both of us!?" I said. Veronica looked shocked. "Both of us?" "Both of you?" "Yeah Arch because other wise V wouldn't have anybody to go with!" "Oh ok." Arch said looking kinda sad.

Tonight

I call Kev and tell him to get over here NOW! A few minutes later he is here. "Ok Kev I'm picking my outfit." I go in my closet and close the door I can't choose! I hear Kev say "Your taking to long I'm coming in!" He comes in and closes the door behind him. He picks out a pink holographic dress! IM IN LOVE WITH THE DRESS! I get dressed let my hair out and brush it then I let Kev do my makeup and I look amazing! Then I hear a knock at the door it's Archie coming to pick me up! "Bye mom." I yell trying to get out of photos but she came out and took 15 pictures.

At the dance

Veronica is going with Kevin leaving me with Archie. "May I have this dance?" He says putting out his hand. "You may." We start dancing at the slow song. "Arch can I ask you something?" "Anything!" "Ok so I've been trying to talk to you about this for awhile but you've not listened. I have this image of us in my head but the kind that's not of us as friends like as boyfriend and girlfriend." I say. "What?" "Yeah is that so hard to imagine?" Our conversation is cut short by Cheryl over the intercom we all clap before she talks. "I know Jason would have loved this and that's why I did it. But I hope you all had and amazing night and sophomores and up are coming to my after party!" I know I shouldn't go but I'm not going to let Archie ruin my night!

At the party

The place was packed for more then my liking my Heart was pounding but I kept on walking, I saw Cheryl and she walked up to me. "I'm so glad you made it!" She said hugging me. After everyone was there Cheryl announced. "We will be playing 7 minutes in heaven! And Archie will be going first!" He nodded and spun the bottle it spun and spun until it stopped between me and Veronica. "My vote goes to new girl and if she doesn't go the hostess gets to!" Veronica got up and went in the closet with him and with every minute that went by it felt like an hour and when the fourth minute hit I couldn't take it anymore. I got up ran to the door put on my heels and just ran I kept on running intel I made it to my house by that time Archie was behind me. Right before I made it to the door he grabbed my arm and spun me around. "What do you want?" I screamed.  "Because I know what I want and I want an answer! Can you imagine that or not because if not I'm just going to leave." "I have an answer but it's not what you are going to want because I don't want to lose our friendship!" I felt a tear fall down my face as I turned around and went in the house. I slammed the door and slid down in front of it. Little did I know he was doing the same thing.
