a constant noise
begins to irritate her.
she slaps the alarm button
to end the repetition of disturbance.
she looks in the mirror.
all dollied up for her new life.
then a shallow figure appears.

the figure screamed

"you can't ignore me forever."
"you can't ignore what you did."

conflicted with the figure's words
quickly she dressed
quickly out the door
the figure stands there
in the mirror
with a resting grin.
