tails of discussions were
left all over the halls
with minerva and seraphina's
relationship.

it felt like hours
when they finally reach
the history classroom.
seraphina and minerva
trade numbers.
she waves minerva
goodbye.

as soon as she leaves,
seraphina seems to have
reentered her body.
"w-what just happened?"
"i just met this girl."
"i already have her number."

seraphina walks into the
room late to the class.

the teacher excuses her
since it was the first day.

she turns to see a
familiar face.

"you are sitting next
to vivian olson and
elizabeth wilson."

her heart sinks.

she walks to her seat
in between the girls.

the teacher then continues his
discussion on welcoming the students.

only minutes after,
a yellow note slips into seraphina's
sight.

"we need to talk
about what happened this morning."

seraphina hesitates
but reaches for her pen.
her hand starts to fidget,
but manages to write an
answer.
