Chapter 1: Another day, another life

*BEEP BEEP BEEP BEEP BEEP*

The sound of the alarm clock in the morning reminds you that you still live in the real world.

Y/N turned her alarm clock off and got out of bed and does her daily morning routine. Everyday is just like this. She gets a hot shower, eats her breakfast and gets ready for school, after school she goes to her work at Magenta cafe then comes home late and does her homework then goes to sleep. Thats her daily routine everyday

Y/N is a 21 year old collage student and she's on her last year of collage, her graduation is coming near. She doesn't play video games that much, she focuses on her studies more. She likes singing and drawing. At night, she loves staring at the stars and make wishes.

She's a part time worker at Magenta cafe. Magenta cafe is known for its sweets and its cosplayers. The cosplayers are all dressed up as the characters from the game Mystic Messenger. Y/N cosplays as 707, even if she doesn't know much about him, she's perfect at cosplaying him.

Y/N looks like she has a better life than others because she smiles everyday, even if she does something that made her look like an idiot, she still smiles and shrugs it off. But in the inside, she's broken. She suffered something that no one would ever think of happening to her.

As usual, Y/N would ride her motorcycle to her university and meet up with her friend, Jessica. They would both go to their class, eat at lunch, study in the library, and the day goes. But today is different.

After classes, Y/N noticed that Jessica has been staring at her phone every hour. She sometimes whines, laughs or smile randomly.

"Hey Jess, what's with you today? I noticed you've been staring at your phone every now and then. Did Matt texted you again?" Y/N asked after Jessica puts her phone away. Jessica stared at Y/N, confused. "Matt? Nah, he's not my tyoe anymore. Besides, he has Victoria. I have someone else in my hands~" Jessica said as she smiled and looks away. "What do you mean? You found someone else better than Matt? Who is it?" Y/N said as she walked to her motorcycle. "You know MM, right?" Jessica asked as she pulled out her phone from her bag again. "No, why?" Y/N said as she grab her helmet. Jessica stared at Y/N in shock "YOU WORK AT MAGENTA AND YOU STILL DON'T KNOW WHAT MM IS?!!"
Jessica said, in pure shock. "Is it important for me to know what MM is?.." Y/N asked as she puts her helmet on and starts her motorcycle. "Yes! You work at Magenta Cafe! You need to know what MM is because Magenta Cafe is all about MM! Since tomorrow is Saturday, I should stay at your house and teach you what MM is~" Jessica said as she fabulously flips her hair. "Alright, I'll be waiting for you at my house later then.." Y/N said as she drives out of the university and to Magenta Cafe.

Later that night at Y/N's house, Jessica came with some of her stuff. She'll be staying at her house until Sunday morning. "So shall we begin?~" Jessica said as she clasped her hands together and smiled at Y/N. "Okay, but first, what does MM stand for?" Y/N asked as she gripped her favourite light brown teddy bear. "MM stands for Mystic Messenger."
