Chapter 6: The Past, part 2

"NO! DON'T YOU DARE AND TOUCH HER!"

Y/N woke up with a jolt, she then pulled her knees close and sobs quietly *Of all nightmares, why this one?..* She thought. Y/N was then felt someone tapped her shoulder, she looked at her left and saw Seven sitting beside her, gently holding her shoulder and looking at her with concern in his eyes "Are you okay?.." Seven said in a gentle and soothing voice. Y/N just looked away. She doesn't want him to see her like this. "Another nightmare? Wanna talk about it?" Seven said as he gently pulled Y/N close to him. Y/N looked at Seven before looking away ".. How did you know it was another one?" "I can tell from your expression when you woke up and.. you were talking in your sleep.." Seven said as he gently caresses Y/N's hair. "I guess it wouldn't hurt if I tell you my nightmare since.. I know some of your secrets, I should share some of mine.." Y/N said as she cuddles closer to Seven. "I'll listen till the very end.." Seven said as he stared at Y/N, still caressing her hair. "Well, I guess I should start from the beginning.."

= 7 years ago = (For does who might get confused; Y/N's telling the story)

I was 14 at this time. I was a stubborn, classical girl. I love to write stories, sing, dance, draw, and most of all, spend time with my friends. I hate noise, arguments, picky people, and what I hate the most are boys. I never got along with boys that much, maybe its because they always tease me, or annoy me, or.. maybe its because they bully me everyday.

Life wasn't that normal, everyday I wake up with my siblings then we'll go to school while our parents go to work. My parents would always scold me because I always go home late, I have low grades, I let them down, and because I was worthless. But, one day I asked my parents if I could sleep in my friends house since it was already summer vacation and they said yes, that was something unusual to me since they would always say no.

I had a fun time at my friends house anyway, all of us were there. We watched movies, play games, eat a lot of junk food, and told stories. It was already midnight and me and my best friend, Star, are the only ones awake in the room. I turned the tv on because I was bored, the late live news appeared and they were showing a live hostage at a house. At first I thought it was someone else house until I noticed the license plate of the car in the garage, it was my fathers car. I looked at Star, I saw her expression, I could tell she wants me to go there because she knows I'm worried about them. I quickly hugged her and whispered a thank you before packing my stuff and running out of her house and to mine.

When I got to my house, a lot of police men are surrounding it. I was shocked that a lot of police would come out there just to try and rescue my family, but they didn't know that I was the one that would rescue them. I ran inside my house even before a police man could stop me. When I got inside I saw a man, his back faced to me, he was holding someone, but I couldn't see who it is. I saw my parents and my brother, tied up and blindfolded in the floor, they were unconscious too.

"Hey!" I shouted, the man turned around "Don't you dare come any closer!" The man points his knife at the girl he's holding, the girl is tied up and blindfolded. I realized, the girl he was holding was my sister. I growled at the man, I was in the verge of tears. My sister means everything to me. I was about to make another step, but then he moved his knife closer to her neck, the blade almost toughing her skin "I'm warning you!!" he said. "NO! DON'T YOU DARE AND TOUCH HER!" without even thinking, I ran towards the man. The man quickly lets go of my sister and gets ready to attack me. Then, before he even knew it, I slide under him and grabbed a knife in our kitchen. When I turned around, he hit my right eye with his knife, good thing I quickly moved back before he could really stab me. Then I quickly stabbed his chest and ran out of the house.

The next day I went to Star's house and I asked if I could stay at their place for now, and luckily her family was kind to me. They helped me treat my right eye and bandage it. After that I turned the news on and I heard that the killer in our house was found dead but my family survived and no one knows who saved them. I sighed in relief, knowing that my family is in good condition is already enough for me. I asked Star's family if they could lend me a house, some clothes, and money so that I could live. They asked me why I need those things, I said "I want to stay away from my family for now. If they see my eye, they might think I got into a fight and they would punish me again. Its better this way anyway." They looked at each other and discussed this before giving me all I need.

I spent a month in their house, making a list of what I need, looking for a job that I could work in, and spending my last days with Star. She was going to move to another country next month, just like our other friends, that's why I'll be lonely next school year. We won't have any connections to each other, so we won't be able to talk or see each other, forever.

A year passed and I turned 15, I'm a third year highschool now, I just moved to my own house at this time. My right eye became blind so I have to use glasses now. I don't have any friends to rely on anymore. And my family didn't even bother to try and find me, I was kind of disappointed but at the same time I was happy.

It was the first day of school. But I won't forget that day, the day I laid my eyes on someone, that someone was a boy, a new student, his name was Nathan. I don't really believe in the saying 'Love at first sight' but, you could say that I really fell for him, real hard. Everyday, I'll try to get his attention, and it always works. He sometimes gives me chocolates for snacks and we would sometimes share stories. One day, he confessed to me "I love you, Y/N" he said and then he pulled me close to hug me, and I hugged back. That day, he became my boyfriend.

Me and Nathan spent 3 years together, until that day. I was going to meet him after classes, but then I saw him with another girl. At first I thought she was just his sister or his cousin or his friend, but then he suddenly pulled her close and kissed her. I was shocked. That day it rained heavily, I made a promise that day too, "I promise I'll never fall in love again and I'll focus more on my studies in the next passing years. When I'm in the right age, that's when I'll let my heart love again." that's my promise

I've been quiet and just studied after I made that promise. Sure, I fell in love at some guys, but they were only characters from stories, movies, and games, never in real life. I made new friends and they helped me study and stay on my path, but they left, except for Jessica. She's my only friend with me right now, but that's fine. As I always say 'One is better than a million'...

= Back in the present =

Y/N was looking at everything in the room, except Seven. "So, I'm your last love? I've heard 'first love never dies'. I also heard 'last love means forever'. Do you think we really are meant to be?" Seven asked as he moved Y/N's head so that she's looking at him directly. Y/N blushed at his words, she then pushed him away and stands up "W-We'll see. After I graduate. We'll see what happens." She said before running to the bathroom to take a shower. Seven giggles *So cute..* he thought. He then pulled his phone out and searched for someone. *What if I find a way to contact them?..* he thought as he keeps searching in his phone.

(I think this is the longest chapter that I have written =w=)
