Chapter 2: Mystic Messenger, is it really just a game?

"MM stands for Mystic Messenger."

Never knew that this game would change my entire life...

"Mystic Messenger is a game that Cheritz made. Its like a dating simulator for girls. You can chat with handsome, cute and sweet boys there AND they can even become your boyfriend! When I started playing it I fell almost instantly to Zen and blah blah blah blah blah blah..." Jessica went on and on, explaining what Mystic Messenger is and how she got addicted to it. The night went on like that. Y/N wondered if the game is really that addictive.

That night, Jessica already fell asleep on Y/N's bed, Y/N on the other hand is still awake. Its already past midnight. Y/N just downloaded the game and started it. After the 2:00 am chatroom, Y/N went to google and researched more about the game. Soon she realized that she was already addicted to it and wanted to play it everyday.

After a month, Jessica and Y/N only talked about MM. Y/N still focuses on her studies but still she plays MM. She's doing Jumin's route now too. Her performance at Magenta Cafe as 707 became better than before now that she know who shes acting as.

But, Y/N didn't told anyone else about this, even Jessica. She's been having weird dreams like; Jumin asking her out for dinner, Yoosung asking her to help him with his homework, Zen asking if she could sing for him, Saeran asking if he could kiss her, V asking if he could take pictures of her, and 707 asking her to be his girlfriend. Sometimes, she couldn't even sleep because of those dreams and because of the sounds that she hears every night in her room like; their ringtones and their voices. Y/N is already scared because of that, but she thinks positively, just like what she always do.

Every night, she looks out of her window and looks at the stars and makes a wish. Tonight, Y/N just got home and she already heard voices again but she shrugged it off. She puts on her pajamas then plays the 23:00pm chatroom. After she plays it, she got a call from 707, she quickly answers it.

"Hello, this is seven zero seven. I'm just wondering if you're already asleep. But you answered the call, that means you're awake. Hahahaa.." Y/N giggled as she listened to his voice and looks out of her window and looks at the stars. "Are you looking outside your window right now? The stars are beautiful tonight, I hope you can see it." Y/N was bit shocked and looked at her tablet, she has three choices to answer. 1; 'Yeah, the stars are beautiful...' 2; 'No, I'm at my bed, ready to go to sleep..' 3; 'How did you know I was looking at the stars right now?!.' Y/N pressed the third choice. "Hahaha.. Because I can see you staring at the same star I was staring at. The sky is so beautiful when its full of stars. I hope every night is like this.. *sighs*" Y/N sighs too and looks out of her window and stares at the stars again. "I wish I could be there to hold you in my arms and say sweet things to you. But that would be impossible because we live in separate worlds, right? Still, I wish I could be there for you everyday.." Y/N looks at the brightest star and closes her eyes "I wish you were here to hold me and comfort me, Seven.." Y/N whispers. "Wait, did you just wished on the same star that I wished on?! Haha, this is such a coincidence! We even have the same wish! Hahaha... hah.." Y/N looks at the tablet and makes the 'What the hell!?' face. "Don't give me that look! Its only a coincidence! I didn't even know that you were going to wish on that star tonight.. You usual make a wish on the other stars except for that.." Suddenly, cold wind blew from the window. Y/N quickly closes it and wraps herself with her blanket. "Brrrrrrr. Its already getting cold, you should close the window and wrap yourself with a blanket. If I were there, I would've hugged you so that you'll stay warm. Haha..." Y/N stared at the tablet in shock *How in the world does he know what I've been doing here tonight!?* Y/N thought. "Ahhughh... Its already getting late. You should get some rest already. You don't want to be late for school tomorrow, do you? Hahaha... I'll just call you later when you're free or.. maybe call me instead. I'll always answer your call even if I'm busy. Well then, goodnight. My princess~" The call then ended.

Y/N turned her tablet off and puts it under her pillow. *Okay... That call, freaked me out.. I guess I won't be having a goodnight rest.. But.. That nickname he gave me tho..* Y/N thought as she giggles. She then layed down her bed and closes her eyes and went to sleep.
