Frisk's POV
"Aye, doll face. Open up."
I looked to the closed door, wondering what G could want. I rolled my eyes at the possibilities and walked over to the door to open it and saw G standing there, hands behind his back. He had changed out of his pajamas and was once again wearing his ripped jeans and cream turtleneck. He was looking at the stairs before whipping his head around to look at me.
"What's up?" I asked in a nonchalant tone. I was a bit worried he was gonna silly string me again, but I doubt it; he was probably still a bit tired from using his magic to clean me up, anyways.
"I got somethin' for ya."
"Oh, dear god. Please don't silly string me again, I beg you." I replied sarcastically. He rolled his eyes and pulled a small, black leather box out from his back pocket.
"Aww, G, ya shouldn't have."
"Too late, Frisky. Now, take the box, or else." I snickered and took the box from his hands. The black leather box was about the size of my palm. Engraved in gold within the leather was the name Frisk.
I opened the box the tiniest bit. I gasped and shoved the box back into G's hands. Before closing the box, I saw the smallest glimmer of silver and gold. "Nope. Can't take it. It looks too expensive, and I'm not that good of a person to spend money on anyways."
"Oh, come on! Really? I go through all that trouble to get you this and you end up not wanting it? My fucking luck." G shoved the box into his pocket and started walking away. Shit. I grabbed the elbow of his turtleneck and he spun around. "Oh, whatever could you need now, Ms. Humble?" He was obviously annoyed and had a sneer plastered onto his face.
"I'm sorry. I've always been shitty when it came to taking presents. I really appreciate this, even if I don't show it." I showed him a genuine smile and he seemed to ease a bit.
He ran his hand over his skull and chuckled. "Oh, whatever will I do with you, Frisky?" He held out the box for me to take, and with a thankful smile plastered onto my face, I took the box. I breathed a deep breathe and flipped the top of the box open. Inside the box was a little golden F and G intertwined into one another on a necklace, a little white diamond here and there.
"Holy fucking shit, G. What the hell? How? Why?"
"Well," He chuckled, "I hit up a buddy of mine and I asked him to make it for me to give to ya. Do ya like it?"
I stared at the necklace, still in disbelief. ...Fuck. Damn, how the hell did I get so lucky? Tears were starting to form in my eyes. I closed the tiny box and looked up at G, smiling like hell.
"Woah, princess. You alright there?" I nodded and engulfed him in a tight hug. He was startled at first, not expecting it, but slowly started to ease into it.
"Thank you, G." I whispered in his ear. He rubbed my back in response, causing me to smile more. We broke apart from the hug and G looked at my teary face.
"Wow, sweetheart. Never expected you to be the crybaby type." He chuckled as I started playfully hitting his chest. He grabbed my wrists and slightly pushed me away. I looked up at him as he began to speak. "Take care of it, alright doll face?" I nodded and took the necklace out of the box, wrapping it around my neck. The pendant landed on my shirt while I smiled proudly.
G gave a small chuckle at my smile before pushing me away, "Alright, ya idiot. Go continue doing your crap, I guess." I scoffed before entering the cave of my bedroom once more.
