Dear Celeste,
I'm sorry that I had to leave so soon. Mom isn't feeling better anymore and dad said we needed to go back to the states. Even if we have to go, don't forget you are my very best friend! Remember that night on your birthday? We saw the stars together and made our wish.
No matter how far apart we will be, I'll keep looking up to the stars and wish that they take care of you while I'm gone. But I promise, one day I'll be back and we can be best friends again! So don't forget about me okay?
Make sure you always feed our little Comet. You know he loves his puppy treats. I'm going to miss him and all his kisses. I'll also miss seeing his tail wag whenever I visit your house. I don't want to leave the Philippines. I will miss riding the weird motorcycles. I'm going to miss the street foods even though I don't fancy the smell.
When I get older like mom and dad, I will come back for you Celeste. Promise you'll always wait for me? Don't forget okay?? You and me are like the sun and moon. We have to part sometimes. But I'm always going to follow you. Until we finally meet again.
Take care of yourself until then. Don't let anyone bully you. You're smart and I know you'll be a scientist one day like you always wished! I'm going to be the photographer that'll take pictures when you win awards! I'll miss and love you best friend.
