2~DEAL?🥀

They were both panting by the time they reached the school library which is in the  other end of our school. Soobin's hands were on his knees. He looked at Ga Eul, she was standing next to him already wiping the beads of perspiration on her forehead.

She looked up and caught him staring at her. She couldn't understand why this human kept staring at her. Soobin quickly looked away and he mentally face palmed himself. Jeez second time in a row she's caught me staring at her. He thought to himself.

Standing straight he spoke.
" Since you liked to read I thought you'd like to check out the library first."
She smiled looking around. Ga Eul walked to the aisle consisting of non-fiction books. Some of the humans wrote quite remarkable stories, stories she found worth reading. She had been very busy for the past few decades and didn't have time for leisure. She recognized none of the books there.
" There are a lot of new books." She said looking at the books.

"Yep it's recently been updated." Soobin said " I mean the school bought quite a number of books a few weeks ago."
" You seem to know alot about here" she told him taking some books reading their summary at the back and keeping them back. Before books, humans used to read from scrolls and scripts which she thought was alot of hassle.
" You can take a book if you're interested in any" he told her " the librarian's desk in at the other side of the room"

A particular book caught Ga Eul's eyes. She pulled it out of the shelf and read a few pages.

" No flower blooms without withering" Soobin said as he walked towards her eyeing the book in her hands.
"How's this?" She looked at him and asked, handing the book to him.
" Do you even have to ask, I mean it's Do Jong-Hwan's book. I've read it a few months ago when this was not even in the school's library." He replied.
" So you have this?" She asked raising am eyebrow.
" I do. If you want I can bring it for you tomorrow"
" Sure, thanks."
" You can take another one if you wish"
"Hmmmm let me see" she said walking around with soobin tailing her. She reached the fiction aisle and  picked up a book, scrutinized it for a while and then looked at him with excited eyes.

" I'll take this then." She told him showing that book to him.
" Okay then let's head to the librarian" he told her and started walking.

" I noticed that there was no one in the library that time." She told him. They were returning back to their classroom.

" Well, that's because the students aren't allowed to go to the library during the  morning, only after the lunch break." He replied.
" Then how come we were allowed?" She asked looking at him, pure confusion etched all over her face, she had become quite an impressive actor. She had mastered the act of acting human, which was a major part of their work.
" What can I say........perks of being me I guess" he said trying to act all cool.
Her lips cracked into a smile  at that statement of his. " I'm offended you know. I really am." He told trying to look hurt which he unfortunately wasn't able to pull off.

This human is pretty interesting, she thought.

" Hmmm so, what makes you think that you're so you know great, I guess" she asked him with a poker face.

" Well, I won't tell you." He replied.
" Duh?" She asked with an amused expression " seems that you're as dumb as the other hu- I mean as dumb as o-" she was cut off by him.

" Woah woah woah, hey lady why don't we make a deal. I won't tell you anything about me, but you have to find out by yourself within ummmm a month and vice versa. How about that?" He proposed.

" I literally have no idea what makes you think that I'll do that. I have way better things to do apart from fin-"

" Hey, come on its gonna be fun. We'll get to know each other more that way. Who knows we might end up as great friends."

She debated for awhile and thought that this might be fun after all she had to do something in this realm to occupy her. She had to stay here for a long time anyway. Which is the only reason why she said with a smirk on her face.
" Okay. You're on buddy"

She asked " are you always like this to any girl?"
" Not really. I don't talk to much girls." She tsked. What? this guy seems like a total flirt to me. I mean just look at the way he's talking to me plus I gotta admit he's pretty good looking too, she thought.
"Why? They are not stupid enough to fall for your flattery?" She mocked him.
" it's jus-"
" Soobin" somebody called him from behind them and the both of them froze. Ga Eul knew that voice, she was sure she had heard it some where though she wasn't able to pinpoint who exactly it belonged to but one thing was for sure, she knew this voice.

" What are you and the new girl doing out of class?" The new voice asked. Soobin and Ga Eul both turned to the direction from where the voice was coming. It was Mrs. Choi, their school principal who happened to be a very frim or as the students put it "the grim reaper" of their school. She was a very smart lady who was very elegant yet firm. But something about her seemed very unsettling to Ga Eul, she too had an aura that was similar to SooBin. Ga Eul tilted her head to her side.

" What are you doing here in the middle of the class? " Mrs. Choi paused to look at Ga Eul and gave her a suspicious look then continued " with her,  that too? Answer me young man" she said her eyes now totally fixtated on Soobin.

" We were just returning back to class mo- Ma'am." He replied before grabbing Ga Eul wrist for the second time today and both of them ran along before the principal could say something. Ga Eul had a hunch now about the person she was sent to find.

The new girl, who is she? Did they send her but that can't be, they had given up keeping tabs on us for a long time now. The principal thought to herself.

Kids these days, that young man has alot to learn." She said before walking away to her office.
