Horizon

"Where are we now?"

Hoseok curls his lips inward before answering "Where the sun stops rising."

True enough, a semi-circle of something red and yellow is suspended by the horizon. It wasn't moving.

Yoongi points to it. "That's the sun?" Hoseok nods. "You've gotta be pulling my leg. How does the sun reach a place like this?" he can't help but ask. He also noticed that he's been inquisitive lately. Is that good or bad? Annoying maybe, on Hoseok's part.

Hoseok merely shrugs. "Nan molla mian." He looks at him. "In all my two years here, I have to admit that I don't know all of hell's secrets. Satan holds a lot I'm sure, but I'm not even halfway."

"Who's not gonna get interested in this place? For sure if scientists and believers find this place they won't hesitate to make it into a zoo and share all their info to brag to their enemies." He shook his head, wondering the greed the humans possess.

Hoseok sighs ruefully. "Well what can we do? All greed and hate and the negative emotions are drilled into us, no matter how good a person seems and appears to be."

Yoongi looked up at a desolate dark red sky. It may not really be the heavens, but hey imagination runs wild right?

He replaced the gloomy and fierce colors into that of gold and white, where angels and good souls sing praise and eat blueberries for the rest of eternity. Is heaven at peace too? If hell was full of fire and sin?

"Yah."

Hoseok turns at the address.

"Why were you really put here?"

The answer was a punch on the shoulder. Yoongi's mouth opened in a silent scream, and he scowled at Hoseok's smiling face, a complete opposite to the somber one.

"The fuck was that for idiot?" He rubbed the spot. "You're really gonna twist my arm if you keep making it a punching bag."

Hoseok laughed loud and hard, his hair falling as his head tilted upwards. Yoongi looked at him weirdly before deciding to offer a kick on the shin.

"Fuckin' weirdo, laughing by himself when nothing's funny around here."

Hoseok's laughs quietened into giggles, and he held Yoongi's arm for support.

"Ahaha- it's- pfft... your face," he wheezes.

Yoongi raised an uninterested brow. "Yeah what about it? I'm gorgeous I know."

"When I hit you, your pained expression was so funny I just had to laugh." He gave an amused smile. "It really was funny. Man, I wish I had my phone so I could take a pic and show it to you."

Yoongi rolled his eyes hard it almost got stuck to his head.

"Show me another place, tour guide." His eyes went back to the unmoving sun. "I'm still wondering how the sun reached this place. I mean, aren't you curious to how?"

Hoseok hums. "Well I am but who am I gonna ask for that?" He tugs on his friend's arm. "Let's go."

"Where to next?"

Hoseok's lips turned into a grimace. "Why should I tell you that?"

"I have a right to know where," argued the older, letting himself be dragged to who-knows-where.

"Find out for yourself. Else I'm leaving you right here."

"What kind of threat is that?"

"Hell is a pretty wide area," said the orange-haired boy. "Would you want me to leave you here to find your way back?"

The idea seemed realistic so Yoongi shut his mouth and didn't say anything else. Hoseok got the hint and walked forward, still holding his arm.

^^

"And where's this?"

The orange-head was smiling wide, and he said with open arms "This is the gates to the Eternal Fire!"

"And why the hell are you excited?" Sometimes Yoongi doesn't get his friend, no matter how long they knew each other.

"Cuz the fire is beautiful, and it deserves recognition."

Yoongi observed the red and yellow flames trapped and held back by a huge black iron gate. The tongues of fire were licking the metal, but it wasn't getting out.

"Is this safe?" he asks. "I get the feeling that I'm gonna be burned if I stay any longer."

Hoseok clicks his tongue. "You're paranoid. It's not gonna get out, unless Satan orders the gates to open and the fire's gonna engulf everything around here." He said this with such casualness and cheer that it scared Yoongi.

"More reason to leave." He clasped the other's wrist. "What if this moment right here is when that devil decides to burn everything? Then we'd be the first ones to receive the brunt of the hot force. You dumb idiot!" he couldn't help but hiss out.

"Aissh!" Hoseok shook his hand so Yoongi would let go. "You're overthinking things! I'm not intending for us to die again! I wanted to show you what I know but your rational brain is getting in the way of fun! Relax Yoongs!"

He opened his mouth to rant and protest some more when the last word made him snap his lips shut. He fixed Hoseok with a too calm gaze.

"What did you just say?"

"Uhh I said loosen up?" Even Hoseok was unsure.

"No after that."

"I'm giving you a tour?"

Yoongi's lip curled in impatience. "No not that the last thing you said."

"Yoongs?"

"Yeah that's it." His cool changed into fierce anger. He grabbed Hoseok's shirt collar and shook the poor boy, making him think what he did wrong. "That's not my name fucker. It's Yoongi."

He let go immediately, Hoseok stumbling back. But he regained his balance and dusted the area where his friend grabbed him.

"Sensitive much on the name," he comments as he walked away.

"Cuz it's not!" He turned whiny in just a split second Hoseok wondered how he survived. But no matter; he was still his friend. Though he kept secrets.
