Patrick's POV

I thought we would never see that asshole again.

He just had to get his revenge for us putting him where he belongs, in jail.

Kendall's in surgery cause she had a pretty big cut on her head.

Me and Brendon were in the waiting room is the hospital wait for the doctor to come out with hopefully good news.

"Are you 2 here for Kendall?" The doctor walked up and asked.

"Is she okay?" Brendon sprang up in his seat and asked.

"She's fine, but you should come with me." We both stood up and followed him.

When we walked in the room, it was a sight I never wanted to see. She was lying on the hospital bed, tubes in her nose, and gauze around her head.

"She should wake up soon. We had to shave her head to put stitches in the cut on her head." The doctor told us.

Brendon was looking at her with tears in his eyes. He slowly walked up to her and grabbed her hand.

I hate to see him hurting like this, they really do love each other.

And seeing the small bump of their second child in her stomach makes it worse. What if the baby doesn't make it, they would be crushed.

Her eyes then slowley began to flutter open. She smiled at the sight of Brendon hovering over her.

"I'll give you guys some privacy." The doctor said and left the room.

"Hey beautiful." He said still with tears in his eyes.

"Where's Jason?" She asked in a scratchy voice.

"He's at my place with Elisa" I said, "I can call her to bring him over."

"Yes, I want to see him." She said.

Brendon's POV.

Patrick stepped out of the room and it was just me and Kendall.

"I'm so sorry, I should have stopped him." I said.

"It's not your fault." She said and grabbed my hand.

I had tears welling up in my eyes, a few slipping out and running down my face. I can't stand to see her like this. And having the life of our second child in jeopardy, I can't take this.

I slowly bang to sing to her.

"When the world gets to heavy put it on my back, I'll be your levy. You are, taking me apart like bad glue on a get well card. It was always you, falling for me now there's always time, calling for me. I'm the light blinking at the and of the road, blink back to let me know." She then had tears in her eyes.

I pulled her into a light hug. "Never leave me." She whispered into my ear.

"Never, for as long as I live."
