"Hey, Em you're my best friend right? I'll tell you a secret that i've been keeping to myself for a while now.I'm inlove with my bestfriend, i couldn't tell her because she might get mad at me. I always want to be her side all the time. I really, really love her so much. Don't tell her okay? I'm gonna miss you :( BYE"

That's whats written in gabe note. He handed it to me before they left and gave me a big warm hug. I was crying when he hugged me. When i read the note i was bewildered after i finished reading it.

What the?..... Gabe's inlove with me? How could that happen, I mean we're really close but i wasnt expecting this. I stared blankly at it not realizing that my teardrops are dripping on the letter.

I walked home still thinking about the letter."Hi. It's you, Maria, Right?" A voiced just popped my thoughts. I didn't even notice that Dr.Oak is in front of me his car parked in the diner.

"Oh, Hi. Doc. How's it going?"

"I'm great, just having some snack in the diner. Where you going?" He was opening the door of his car.

"Home. I went to see gabe and his parents. They were leaving town today." I said. The feeling of missing him came back again.

"Uhm....I'm Sorry to hear that. How 'bout I give you a ride? He offered.

"No thanks Doc. I hate to impose." Feeling really shy because we're not really close.

"I won't take no for an answer Em." He insisted.

"Okay." He opened the door for me. What a gentleman.

 On our way home I noticed his eyes were really cute It's bubbly and His hair is dark brown.

And he's good looking too. Maybe that's why many nurses couldn't focus on their work when he's around. The reason why girls always wants to get confined at the hospital and be his patients. He graduated college early because the townsfolksay that he's a genius.

"Here we are." We stopped in front of our driveway. "
Thanks for the ride Doc, See you later." I was about to open the door when he suddenly grabbed my hand his eyes locked on mine.

"Everything is gonna be okay Em."

"We've got an appointment next week don't be late, I'll be waiting for you." Still holding my hand.

"Sure Doc, Thanks again for the ride." I smiled at him slowly slipping my hand away.

"You're welcome, Take care Em." He smiled to me before I closed the car door.

"Bye, Doc!" I was waving goodbye. Rain was starting to pour when I entered the porch my Mom was cooking dinner.

"Mom, I'm home. Wow, That smells great. What's cooking?

"Hey  Sweetie, It's fried chicken." She said. I went to the kitchen counters to taste some of the chicken.

"This taste great Mom." I said with a smile on my face. I  love mom's cooking.

"Can you arrange the plates? Your dad is coming home anytime soon."

"Sure thing." I put down the chicken that I was eating. After I finished arranging the table my Dad was already here.

"Hey Cupcakes."  He flashed a loving smile. "Perfect timing, it's time for dinner."  So after we ate dinner I went to my room and send a message to gabe.

"Hey, Dude! Have a safe trip 'kay? I'm already missing ya' .Take care always."

After I clicked send. I thought about the letter again. Gabe is really full of surprises.
