Alfred's POV
Alfred and Jim has been sitting in the waiting room for hours. By the time they where allowed in to see Bruce it was almost morning. Bruce was in a coma and the doctors didn't know when he was going to wake up.
"My Pennyworth the damage done to Mr Wayne was substantial. The problem is it has put him in a coma. Now the protocol with a coma patient is if they don't wake up within 6 months then we have to pull the plug" he says. Alfred just nods not really listening as he stairs at the boy in-front of. Or should he say man. He has known Bruce since he was a boy. He has seen him grown and become a father and a loving boyfriend to selina. Yes he has made mistakes but he is still learning. By the time he wakes up he could be the father of 3.
The doctor leaves and he just looks at Bruce.
"He's going to wake up. I don't know when but I know he won't give up" Jim says. Alfred nods.
"I've know him since he was a boy. I have seen him grow into this fine young man and I have seen him become the amazing father that he is today. The loving father that he is. I know he will fight" Alfred says.
Selina's POV
Selina sits in bed as she feels a sharp pain go through her body.
This can't be happening. She thinks it's braxton hicks until she realises that they are every 15 minutes which are to regular.
"Tabitha" she says. Tabitha looks at her.
"Yeah What is it" she asks.
"Get Lee something is wrong" she says. Tabitha nods and runs out the door.
Lee puts the wand on her stomach and looks at the scan.
"Selina the babies are in distress" she says.
"What What does that mean" Barbra says.
"It means the babies have a high heartbeat which isn't good for them because of the stress the mother has been through. Selina if this doesn't improve I'm going to need to perform a c section" she says.
"What but I'm only 28 weeks" Selina says.
"Yes but they are in destress the longer they are in there then the less likely they are to survive if they are out they are more likely to survive" Lee says. Selina looks at Barbra and Tabitha.
"I'm going to give it 2 hours and if I don't see things improving then we're going to the operating room" She says.
