Book 1B Chapter 20

Bruce's POV
It has been a few days since my son Damien was born and I could never be more happy. To think that I'm now a dad is life changing but I wouldn't Change it. In the days following the birth Barbra and Tabitha have been staying at the house helping look after him.
He only wake up once or twice in the night which is good for Selina as she needs the sleep. As I'm now a dad I have decided to stop being Batman. I love helping people but I need to be there for my family.

Today I have invited Jim and Harvey over to meet Damien.
I sit next to Selina as she feed Damien. I smile at her.
"What" she says.
"Your beautiful" I tell her.
"Stop" she says.
"But you are" I tell her.
"I would punch you now if I wasn't feeding our son" she says.
I laugh.
"Yeah but I deserve it you did carry him for 9 months" I tell her.
" Your right there babe" she says.
She finishing feeding him and then burps him.
"So What time and Jim and Harvey going to be here" she asks. 
"Should be here soon" I say.
Barbra and Tabitha walk in.
"How is my godson" Tabitha says sitting next to selina.
"He's as perfect as always" Selina says.
"He is the cutest baby ever" Tabitha says. I chuckle a little.
"Master Bruce you have guest" Alfred says. I turn and see Jim and Harvey.
"It's good to see you" I say.
"It good to see you to" Jim says. Selina hands me Damien.
"Is this him" Harvey says.
"Yes Damien Thomas Wayne" Selina says. I stand up and hand Damien to Jim. He holds him and smile.
"He is perfect you two" Jim says.
"He really is" Selina says. Jim and Harvey smile at her.
"Why are you looking at me like that" Selina says getting emotional.
"You where just talking" Harvey says.
"Oh well thanks for listening" she says. Harvey and Jim look at me.
"Mood swings" I whisper. They nod their heads.
"Oh Bruce I need to put on his booties" she says getting up.
"Babe do you think you want our son wearing these tootie frootie booties" I say holding them up to her.
"I knew you hate me" she says crying into my shoulder.
"No Did I say tootie frootie I meant cutie woodie booties" I say. She pulls away.
"Your just saying that" she says crossing her arms.
"No I'm not any boy would want these" I say.
"Aww thank you" she says walking over and putting the booties on. Jim gives me a sympathetic look.
"He looks so cute" Tabitha says.

"Master Bruce does anyone want to stay for dinner" Alfred asks.
"Anyone" I ask.
"We could stay right Harv" Jim says.
"Yeah we could" Harvey says.
"Well The that's all of us" I tell him.
"Very well sir" he says leaving.
"I'm going to put Damien to bed" Selina says walking out of the room.
"Why don't you go down to the kitchen and we'll be down in a minute" I say.
"Sure" Barbra says taking everyone to the kitchen.
I walk down to me and Selinas bedroom and see her rocking Damien.
I wake up behind her and put my head on her shoulder. I place a finger on Damien's cheek.
"He is perfect" I whisper.
"You have being saying that since the minute he was born" she whisper laughs a little.
"But he is. I won't let anything happen to him Selina. I would protect him and you with my life" I tell her.
"I don't need protecting. But he does" she says.
"I know but I'm always going to if I have to"I say putting my head on her shoulder.
"Well I'll take that offer" she says. 
I smile at her and give her a peck on the lips.
"I love you" I say.
"I love you too" she says.
