Jessica's POV
I woke up feeling more well rested then ever, I looked up to see Shawn staring down at me with an emotion in his eyes that I couldn't quite put my finger on. I jumped away from him immediately when I realized we were still cuddling, "I-I'm so sorry I-I must have fa-fallen asleep, i-it won't ha-happen again pr-promise." I said freaking out. "Jessica, it's okay we both just fell asleep, it's no big deal." He said calmly while smiling, oh my god his morning voice. "I-I'm gonna go cook breakfast." I said running into the kitchen to cook some bacon, eggs, and toast. The toast and eggs got done fairly quickly and I was fixing the bacon when a husky voice startled me, "That looks absolutely ravishing." Shawn stated while biting his lip, I don't know why but I had a feeling he wasn't only talking about the food. "I figured we would both need a good breakfast, with you having to deal with hormonal teenagers, and me also having to deal with hormonal teenagers, so here you go." I said awkwardly handing him my plate. "Thank you" He said smiling digging into his food, after he took his first bite he moaned in appreciation holy shit that was hot "Where did you learn to cook like this?!?" He exclaimed loudly with his mouth full. "My mom taught me when I was like five." I stayed chuckling. "There's more on the counter for when your done and want more, I need to go get ready for school,  it's Friday BITCH." I said loudly but then panicked when I realized what I had just said in front of my teacher. My eyes widened and I slowly looked over to see if he had heard what I had said and to my dismay he had "I'm so sorry oh my god you're my teacher that was wrong of me to cuss in front of you I'm so sorry!" I said quickly while Shawn just watched me with an amused smirk on his face before he busted out in cackles. "Y-you were so s-scared oh my god!" He said wiping away tears from laughing so hard, I frowned "So... you're not mad at me?" I said to which he replied with "It's your house, you're allowed to say whatever you want to say in your own home, but if you cuss at school, I will have no choice but to punish you." He said with a filthy smirk on his face. "Okay... I'm gonna go change now. BYE, see ya later Mendes." I said racing up the stairs to my room.
I felt like dressing up today, so I got a really cute shirt on that showed off my curves and some ripped jeans with some ankle boots with a little bit of a heel on them. Once I felt satisfied with my appearance I walked down the stairs, Shawn was already gone because the teachers go to school earlier than the students, so I grabbed my keys and walked out to my Jeep. I got to the school quickly because my house and the school are in walking distance but who's trying to walk to school? No one, that's who. As I was walking into the school I spotted Nate and Sav who were walking towards me along with Savs boyfriend Cam. Sav got to me first with a big smile on her face, "Hey, there's a party tonight and I really want you to come, you'll have fun, I promise." I groaned but I knew that they genuinely wanted someone to come along with them so I agreed. "Okay, but I swear if something happens-" "Thank you, Thank you, Thank you, you won't regret it!" Sav squealed while she hugged me. I just chuckled and turned to Nate because we had first period together and sat next to each other. "Yep, lets get it gurrl." He said in a high pitch tone. I started laughing before saying "let's go before we are late to class." And grabbing his arm and dragging a laughing Nate to class. "We walked into the classroom giggling only to realize that the normal teacher wasn't there, and in her place was the one, the only, Mr. Mendes. He heard us giggling and turned around and flared at us before continuing to talk to the student he was previously. "Geez that man does not like me." Nate whispered before faking a scared shaking expression while I just laughed and playfully rolled my eyes as we walk to our seats. Shawn then called for everyone's attention, "As you all know, I normally don't teach this class, but your teacher will be late and she asked me to watch over her first period class and luckily at this time I don't have a class. She left a worksheet for you all to do so I will be passing those out, any questions?" everyone slowly shook their heads no. He passed out the papers and I was halfway through when Nate nudged me on the shoulder. "What Nate?" I whispered turning to face him, "I don't know what half of this shit even means!" He whisper yelled, i laughed before jokingly saying "well maybe if you payed att-" "Could you two please keep your love life's out of the classroom please, you are distracting everyone in the classroom.". I looked up to see a very angry but very hot Shawn looking down at us "sorry mr. Mendes, won't happen again." I said while he muttered a "better not" while walking to the front with balled up fists. Great, bitchy mendes is back. Me and Nate kept quiet the rest of the period until we were walking out of the classroom and Nate was complaining about how much of a dick Shawn or Mr. Mendes is.
The rest of the day went by quickly, Mr. Mendes must have been pissed about something because he just let us have his workday and sat his desk looking pissed off the entire day. I got home a little before and grabbed some clothes for the night because me and Sav decided that I was going to spend the night after the party. I got on some party clothes, then being a little more revealing than anything that I would wear at school. I walked down stairs to see Shawn sitting on the couch on his phone. "Hey Shawn?" I said and he looked up from his phone " yes Jessica?" He said coldly jeez who pissed in his cheerios. "Uhm... me and Sav actually have had a sleep over planned since like Tuesday and so would you mind if I spent the night with her tonight, there's money on the counter if you need anything." "Jessica, I'm a grown man, I can handle a night alone and I don't need your money. Yes you can go as long as you are careful, here's my phone number Incase if emergencies." He said writing on a piece of paper and handing it to me, which I quickly put his name in my phone under sean just to piss him off, out of the corner of my eye I saw him roll his eyes and I giggled before putting my phone off and heading out the door. "See you tomorrow!" I shouted while walking out of the door. "Bye hun, have fun!" Shawn called

I walked into the crowded party and quickly found my friends on the dance floor, we danced for a while before deciding to head to one of the couches. "Heyyyy" a voice slurred and I turn my head to see a drunk Nate walking towards us with a smile on his face. "C'mon Jessica I want to show you something." Nate slurred, grabbing my hand and pulling me up, I signaled to Sav I would be back later and she nodded. I grew more and more confused as Nate led me down a weird hallway into a room. "Nate, why are we in her-" I asked before I was shoved into a wall by Nate. "Nate what the hell!?" I shouted as he pinned my wrist to the wall which was sure to leave a bruise. "You are so blind you know that, can't take a single god damn hint, sometimes a man just has to take things into his own hands." He grunted as he ripped my shirt slightly. "N-Nate I don't want this let me go! You're hurting me!" I cried as I thrashed from my position against the wall, trying to get out of my so-called friends harsh hold. "Shut yo you little bitch!" He yelled throwing me in the ground and climbed over me, only to notice I was crying and shaking, to which he responded by slapping me in the face. "Stop acting like you don't want this you little whore!" He said grabbing my throat and squeezing. I did the only thing I thought to do I kneed him in the groin, hard and ran as fast as I could, hearing him calling for me.
I tried to find Sav but I couldn't so I ran outside and hid behind a bush so Nate couldn't find me. I finally decided that I really needed to leave, even if it meant getting in trouble. My trembling hands scrolled through my contacts as I clicked on the desired one. "Hello?" His voice answered. "I-it's Jessica, I lied I am at a party, I'm so sorry but can you please pick me up." I said trying to cover up the fact that I was shaking. "What happened? Are you Okay?" He said sounding concerned "U-Uhm yeah I'm fine can you please just pick me up." I lied and soon hurt shuffling signaling Shawn was moving around. "Of course, I'm glad you called me, just send me your location." He said. "Okay" I said before hanging up and doing just what he told me. It wasn't long before I saw his Jeep pull up and I ran to the car, but not before putting on a scarf to hide the marks I'm sure Nate left. I hopped in the passenger seat and he began to pull out of the drive way, "I'm not going to act like I'm not upset, because I'm pissed, but I'm glad you called me." He said as we began driving home. "I didn't want you to be mad" I muttered and he sighed "I wouldn't be mad, I was a teenager not too long ago." He said. "Okay, I'm sorry" it was silent for a while after that. "So why'd you want to come home" He said and I subconsciously covered my wrist to hide the marks "oh no reason, j-just not my scene." I tried to lie but I was already to late, as the car was pulled over and Shawn's yes were on my wrist bouncing back and forth between the mark on my face and mark on my wrist. "Jessica, I'm gonna ask you this one time, and I swear if you try to refuse I swear to god." He said through gritted teeth, "what is it?" I tried to respond casually. He squeezed his eyes shut and sucked in a deep breath while squeezing his fist shut in what I was guessing an attempt to calm himself down as I tried to subtly hide the marks. "Jessica. Move. Your. Hand." He seethed through gritted teeth. I sighed and then slowly moved my hand to which his eyes widened at sight of the bruise and he slowly reached for the scarf with shaky hands and unwrapped the scarf from around my neck, gasping at the strangle marks. His eyes darkened even further as he gently ran his fingers over the marks. Shit.
