Episode Ten - Tomorrow's Breath

"We always read stories about a myth called Tomorrow's Breath. It was a legendary ability that gave it's user infinite power, the ability to bend time and space, with unparalleled ability. Though...nothing has ever come out of it, except...one was rumored to have found the cask that held Tomorrow's Breath...yet, none of that was proven."

Kevin lets out a small breath, taking a large one in, "phew...I feel nervous just looking at him," he says. To shakes his head, "worry not Kevin, it'll all be okay." Magenta suddenly vanishes and appears in front of Lucifer, throwing a strike. Lucifer catches his hand, but...a magenta beam fired from Magenta's hand, sending Lucifer flying through the sky. He chases.

Kevin watches on, in utter awe. "Wow...those two combined are really fierce, I don't think even us can beat him with our power alone," he states. To smiles as he watches them fight, "yes...Magenta, or Red and Blue were always my top troops of my colony. They fought fiercely every day, and they never failed to amaze me...once I taught them the ability of fusion, they only got stronger."

Kevin smiles and watches the battle, almost invested. Magenta grabs Lucifer's hand, throwing him onto the ground. He raises his hand into the air, a massive orb of magic formed, "begone you fool!" He throws it down, it crashes onto Lucifer, exploding in massive quantity. A shockwave sends Mark and Thomas to their feet, Kevin and To stand, impressed by their power.

"Heh, that's it, huh? Done already? You...you thought you were all powerful, but you were-" Lucifer appears behind Magenta, throwing a strike -- Magenta catches his hand, "nothing but a hoax." He fires another beam, it covers Lucifer. It fades away, Lucifer falling to the ground. 

He lands, his eyes closed. "Did he win?!" Mark says, getting up. "No..." Kevin answers, looking back at him, "he's not out for the count just yet...Magenta does have the power to do it, though..." Lucifer stands, brushing himself off. Magenta dashes straight down, throwing a massively powerful punch. Lucifer catches it, it creates a shockwave, dust kicking up all around. Magenta smiles, Lucifer does the same.

Magenta pulls his hands away, dashing back. He brushes his cheek, blood leaks slowly. To's eyes widen, he looks at Kevin, "he...didn't even move..." Kevin looks over, stunned, "but...neither did Magenta, they didn't even flinch...are they-" Magenta's body seems to vibrate and shake, as well as Lucifer's. "Huh?" Mark tilts his head, walking up to Kevin, "they're still...what're they doing? A staring contest?" Kevin shakes his head, "they're moving so fast, light can't even seem to track them." Mark looks up, utterly shocked, "no...way."

Kevin shakes his head, "that's incredible, they're fighting toe to toe! Yet...who will win?" "We can't be sure until they start moving again," To says softly, narrowing his eyes. Kevin looks over at the bunker, "why do I feel like I'm missing something...someone-" His eyes widen, "SARAH!!!!" He screams, running into the bunker. Lucifer looks over and smiles, firing a magic bullet at Kevin, it pierces through his shoulder, it stumbles him. He keeps running, and eventually gotten into the bunker.

He runs through the bunker, trying desperately trying to get to her...he knew she was in there. He searched and searched, and entered the fateful world. He sees her, dying. "S-Sarah..." He gets on his knees to her, putting a hand on her cheek gently. She smiles at him, putting her hand on his in response.

"You really did...a number on me," she says, shakily. She closes her eyes, her internal bleeding is now lethal. She lets out one final breath, passing away. Kevin looks at her, her lifeless body sends an unknown fury throughout his body. He gently picks her up, carrying her, tears flooding from his cheeks. He walks outside onto the battlefield, Magenta and Lucifer battling it out. Rocks pick up and float around Kevin...the immense pressure radiating from him.
