The next morning you woke up to Trevante in the kitchen cooking breakfast. You walked in looking at everything he made.
"Good morning!" he says turning to you.
"Morning!" You say sitting on the counter.
"I didn't know if you liked pancakes or waffles so I made both." He leans in to kiss you and you kiss him back.
He stands between your legs as you remained on the counter and continues to kiss you. As the two become lost in each other your phone starts to ring. You ignore it until the ringing stops and a few seconds later it rings again.
"I have to go answer that." You sigh. Trevante continues kissing and the ringing stops again. You go into your room to see who called you and you phone starts to ring again and you see that it's Ava.
"Hey Ava-" You say before being cut off. "Okay, okay chill I'm on my way now. Give me 20 minutes." You tell her before hanging up.
You walk back in the kitchen as Tre finished up.
"Thank you for all this! But as much as I want to stay and eat I have to go." You say to him.
"Is everything good?" He asked concerned.
"Yeah everything is fine just some work stuff I have to handle." You say sadly.
"Okay that's fine. But you can't leave on an empty stomach." Trevante says holding a plate up to you. You take a waffle of the plate and take a bite before kissing him once more.
You walk back to your room as you eat and Trevante follows. As you got ready to get in the shower Tre got dressed and headed out.
"I'll talk to you later." He says grabbing his keys and kisses you before leaving. You lock your door and get in the shower mentally and physically prepared yourself for the day.
You sat in Ava's office listening to her talk and taking notes. After hours of being with Ava you walk back to your office. On your way you see Maya in her office and walk in.
"Maya I-" you stop when you see a man sitting a across the room holding flowers. "Oh hi I didn't mean to disturb you I'll come back." You continue.
"No wait!" Maya shouts. "Y/N this is Roman, Roman meet Y/N!" She says.
"Oh so you're Roman?" You say giving him a look.
"Yeah! Look I know you probably don't want shit to do with me at this point but I just wanted to say I'm sorry about the other night." He stands up and hands you the flowers. "My ex went into labor earlier than expected and everything kinda slipped my mind, I just wanted to apologize to you in person." Roman apologizes.
"It's fine don't worry about it. And thank you!" You say holding up the flowers. "I'm gonna go, I have some stuff I need to do for Ava. Roman it was nice to finally meet you and congrats on your baby, Maya I will talk to you later." You say walking out and heading to your office.
You sat in your office responding to emails when Maya came in. "What did you do?" You say glancing at her.
"What do you mean." She says as she sits down.
"Why is Roman suddenly appearing out of nowhere giving me flowers and shit." You say.
"I talked to him the day you told me he stood you up and when he explained what happened I told him he needed to do something to make it up to you." She explains.
"If I wasn't already somewhat seeing someone I'd probably give him another chance but I wanna see where this goes." You tell her.
Five Months Later
You gripped the sheets as Trevante thrust into you from behind. He puts his hand around your neck pulling you close to him so your back is against his chest.
"Oooh fuuuck." You moan feeling yourself getting close.
"God Y/N you feel so fucking good." Tre says in your ear.
"T-Tre I'm...I'm gonna...fuck." You scream as he pounds into you faster.
"Cum for me Y/N." Tre growls thrusting deeper and faster.
You finally meet your release and Trevante soon follows and you lay next to each other trying to catch your breath.
You wake up the next to find Trevante missing from beside you. Getting out of bed you walk through his penthouse trying to find him and see him in his office on the phone. You walk in and sit on his desk as he continues his conversation while staring at you and pulls you into his lap. After a few minutes you looked at the time and realized you were about to be late for work. You got up and got ready for work you go back into Trevante's office and kiss him goodbye before leaving.
At work everyone was getting things set for the gala that the magazine was having. With it only being a couple days away you had to make sure that everyone had everything ready to go. Since Maya was out of town you were stuck doing her task which became a little overwhelming but since most of everything was done you didn't have much to do but pray and hope that everything goes right.
While you took a break you got a call from Ty.
"Girl where the fuck are you? Did you get any of my messages?" She yells.
"What are you talking about?" You ask looking at your phone for the messages.
"I've been at the airport for an hour waiting for you." She says.
"Oh fuck I didn't have my ringer on, I'm sorry I forgot." You tell her. "I'm at work right now and I can't leave. I'll send a Uber to pick you up and bring you here so I can give you my key." You continue.
About an hour later you see calls you and tells you she's outside your office. You leave the building and meet her outside as she greets you with a hug.
"Bitch I'm mad you forgot about me. But I'm so happy to see you I've missed you so much."Th says hugging you again.
"I know! Sorry I forgot about you it's just shit has been so crazy the past couple of days." You say handing her a key. "I'll see you later I don't know what time I'll be off but I'll call you and get us something to eat on my way home." You tell her.
"Okay! See you later boo!" She gets back into the Uber and you wave at her as the car drives off.
Now at home you were sitting on the couch with Ty eating while watching LAHH. As you were eating you apologized again for forgetting about her and told her about all the stuff that's been going on that you hadn't told her yet. You mentioned Trevante to her about him since you wanted to wait to tell her. During your conversation you ask Ty if she wanted to come to the magazines gala. She agrees and the two of you make plans to find something to wear.
Today was the night day of the event and after spending all day looking for dresses you and ty both found something to wear. You came home from getting your hair and nails done and relaxed for a little before you started getting ready.
Some time later you and Ty arrived to the gala and you were immediately greeted by Ava's assistant Jeremiah. He showed you where you were sitting and you and Ty sat and associated with everyone nearby. You wanted to go out and get some air so you, Jeremiah and Ty head outside. Later Jeremiah gets a call from Ava and he excuses himself to find her.
You go back inside and sit at your table, Ava later appears and and sits in her seat across from you. A couple minutes later she gets up and walks around the table.
"You made it." She says. "Everyone I want you to meet my fiancé-" You turn around and see a familiar face. "Trevante." Both of you say in unison.
