A bolt of lighting... that's all it took. No obscure magic, no sacrifices... a lightning bolt. It's almost like it's out of a story book but it's so true...
In one of the mansions master bedrooms
Banging was heard, like someone trying to desperately get out of a small box. This was exactly that, it was a boy, he has chocolate brown hair, and green eyes you could get lost in.. or should I say, a green eye, the other was replaced by a ocean blue button. He had a sewn on red patch under the button on his right cheek, he wore an old white Polo shirt with a blood red tie with a black patch, old brown boots, and tattered grey pants. A huge chunk of his right arm was missing and was replaced by a huge blue patch to match his buttons color, his left hand was also patched with a green to match his emerald eyes.
All that was heard for the next ten minutes was slamming until a lock being broken was heard. The toy box toppled over revealing the boy and other toys and trinkets. He groaned in pain as he tried to stand up; grabbing the edge of the box for some support. He noticed a presence, a bit dark and eerie. He whipped his head from side to side, ignoring any pain that he felt. He eventually stopped when he heard someone say his name...
"Marcus...?" he looked over to see a girl. She had long, braided, blonde hair that reached down to her lower back, black leggings that had several purple patches in them, short brown boots, a pink shirt that had more purple patch work sewed into it and it reached down to her elbows; her left hand was pink while her right hand was purple, they matched her button which was a almost worn down pastel pink. Like Marcus, it was on the right side of her face, just like the worn hot pink patch on her cheek. She had a stunning aquamarine eye that could bring someone to their knees and a smile like no other. She was truly beautiful, to him at least.
"Ar..ia...?" Marcus said weakly with confusion. " is it... really you?" he said as he stumbled towards the girl. "yep" she said as she helped Marcus gain his balance, when Marcus could stand on his own he cupped Arias soft cheek with his cold hands and analyzed her face. "what... happened? Why are we here?" he said quietly as if he was going to wake up a sleeping child if he went above that level, "I barely remember.." She said looking down at the white fluffy carpet on the musty wooden floor, "all I remember was a little girl... Lillian? Was her name? I can't seem to remember." Marcus slipped his hand of of Arias face and ran his fingers through his brown, spiky, hair as if it was going to help him remember the events that happened prior "maybe... we can find this Lillian girl and she can help us regain our memories" exclaimed the doll boy "yeah! Then we can find our way back home!" said the now pumped up Aria.
"yeah.."
"our way back home...."
Marcus smiled to himself as he thought about going home to his friends and family, but he was snapped out of his trance when he heard the bark of a dog and a yelling voice outside the door. Aria stared at the door with caution, hearing the shouting get louder and louder. Both her and Marcus seemed to remember the voice, but couldn't put their finger on it until...
*WHACK!!*
The door had flew open, making Aria shriek and hug Marcus. After a solid minute of only hearing raindrops hitting the balconies glass door; she opened her eyes to see a grey dog with two orange eyes, an orange-yellow underbelly and mussel, a big fluffy tail with four orange-yellow spots that go from the start to the end of his tail. He looked like he was really happy to see them.
"Sparky! Why do ya gotta run away from me!" the silly looking boy exclaims, he looks ahead to see two utterly confused and dumbfounded individuals.
"Marcus! Aria! What's up?! Teara was so wrong about me being able to find you guys! Haha!" The boy hops around and does a victory dance
" PALM?!"

Woo! Chapter 2 is finished! I think that I'll make an official cover for this story soon, or maybe some art that goes with some of the main scenes. Of you were wondering Marcus, Aria, and Sparky are characters that I made while Palm and Teara are a friend's characters. Teara will be introduced next chapter. If you have any questions or tips I'd like to hear them!
Bye bye!
