Chapter 6: Advice
~~~~
The nindroid tilted his head in hesitation as the metal door's colour pierced through his red visor. It was just a door, why must he be so nervous? He sighed and knocked. His fist clenched and lightly but not too softly knocked. He was probably just scared of who the door belonged to. It was Ultra Violet. One of the toughest generals here at the SOG organization. The nindroid waited for a few minutes before the door opened and there stood in front of him, the familiar grey-skinned general. She pursed  her lips. Still wearing that same purple lipstick was the ones she always wears. "What do you want, rookie?" She spoke boldly. Catching the robot off guard for a small while. Though he managed to recover and glance down at the ground, catching his words once again. He seemed to have forgot. The silence left Ultra Violet slightly annoyed. Making her want to give him a quick punch on the shoulder, reminding him that he can't stay silent for all eternity. Only the quiet one could be capable in doing something like that. But Mr. E was no quiet one.
"I wanted to ask for some....advice. Ma'm." The nindroid quaked, his small tin figure shaking as he tried to pronounce words. Ultra Violet snickered at his question: "Advice? Advice for what shrimp?" She inquired. Mr. E flinched at her words though it wasn't visible through his blood red visor. He could even be smiling for God knows why. He glanced down at his feet before looking back at Ultra. "Advice for like...how to train harder. I wanted to retry the obstacle course." He told her, which earned a few cackles from the coach's turn. The laughing fit went on for a short while before she stopped and faced him. "You're one hell of a fighter aren't you? That's the kind of determination we need on this team, shrimp." She paused to smile a bit. "But your overall agility sucks." She broke the truth out to him.
Mr. E still kept his head down, the nervous look on his frontage discarded and replaced with one of shame. "Yeah I apologize for that. Though can you please give me some advice on how to improve?" He inquired-or more so begged the purple-coded general. The amused look on her face didn't leave her. "And why should I waste my time on a disgrace? Can you prove to me I'm not?" She turned the tables. It left the nindroid stunned. It was true. How could he prove to her that he wasn't gonna turn out a failure like last time? He thought for a few minutes. Noticed by Ultra Violet's breathing becoming more deeper. She was getting impatient herself. "Well? I don't have freaking all day." She commented on his speed. The nindroid ignored her, still keeping to himself. It took him about 3 minutes to think up of a response to her inquiry. "If you'll agree to bring me to the obstacle course, then I can show you that I will not fail you nor this organization, ma'm." He stepped up. The purple coded-general crossed her arms however her expression turned into a patronizing one. She scoffed: "Well, those are some considerate words. Better not lie to me. Friends don't lie to eachother." She reminded him with a glare. Almost immediately, the nindroid asked about her last statement. "Pardon me, since when were we-" he cut himself off as he noticed Ultra Violet's eyebrows narrowing down even more. He gulped and caught his words, reformulating them. "Ok, let's get going to the obstacle course, shall we?" He inquired in a nervous tone. He tried to act confident, but his plan fell flat.
The purple- coded general glanced back at her room, posters of the most famous of models seen hung up on the wall. There was also things like a vanity desk and a hell ton of makeup palettes, perfume bottles and eyeliner all messily piled up on one another. On the ground, opened CD boxes and black pillows, assumingely have fallen down from her bed. Mr. E could only assume it's pop music CDS. Her favourite genre of songs. Ultra Violet turned back around and gestured him to move for she will close her door. The robot did what she asked and moved out of the way. With a neutral-sounding slam, the door was shut. She glared him down one more time before passing him and taking lead. Mr. E sheepishly followed as the two made their way to the obstacle course, once more.
A/N Hiya! Thank you for reading chapter 6 of Mask of Chaos! If you liked this chapter, leave a vote and comment down below what you think happens next or just a message in general! Now let me explain myself due to the 1 month gap between chapter 5 and 6. Yeah let's see, I have about 18 books on hold right now. (Big number, mhm) and surprisingly, this book isn't my top priority unlike my other books. Even though this book is one of the easiest ones to write since my word count limit is: 400-1000 words. So this one will have less publications. Sorry about that, the people who really like this story. Anyways, that concludes chapter 6. Cya in chapter 7!
