INTERVIEW - @retardedinpajamas with @LivItYourWay

Hello everyone and good day! This is retardedinpajamas, bringing you an interview with the author of “An Abandoned Kitten”, a Kuroo x OC fan fiction, Livia-san (as I address her) AKA @LivItYourWay – san!

 

Retardedinpajamas: *clears throat* Anyway, to start this interview, (I'm sorry I suck in formality) I would to greet you good morning/afternoon/evening! (I think our timezones are different)

Either way, as the first question for the Interview section of Haikyuu magazine, may I ask how you found out about the anime/manga Haikyuu!! ? Did you read the manga first or watch the anime?

LivItYourWay: Well I first found out on Facebook when an anime website announced that there it would be made into an anime. I was curious, so i checked out the manga :)

Retardedinpajamas: Ooh, I see I see! That's nice :D What was your first impression on the manga? And may I ask who your first love was - I mean your favorite character when you started reading the series? :)

LivItYourWay:Well for my first impression... I have to say that it was quite unique how it started off with Hinata losing in the first round rather than how others just start off on the first day of high school.

My first love? KUROO!

Retardedinpajamas: I see I see xD His first day in Karasuno was quite surprising when he saw the king there, no? Hahaha Kuroo that bedhead hottie -w- Well, you do have "An Abandoned Kitten" as a Kuroo x OC so no question about that :)

For you, who are the top 5 boyfriend-material in Haikyuu? XD

LivItYourway:1. Sugawara (caring and kind)

2. Kuroo (he would probably be a major tease but he also comforting in a fun way)

3. Tsukishima (there has to be some tsundere-ness in there somewhere)

4. Nishinoya (reliable and upbeat)

5. Kenma (video games~)

Anyways, as stated by you, your favorite character is Kuroo resulting of you making a fan fiction of him. If you were to write another Haikyuu!! fan fiction, who will you pair your OC with? :)

LivItYourWay:Well let's see, I don't really have one in mind but probably one of the minor characters because I like some of them but they don't have enough recognition.

Retardedinpajamas: Looking forward to it then! :) Hmm, next question is, who inspires you to write?and what is your favorite book in wattpad or even certain anime fan fic?:)

LivItYourWay: Well when I first decided to write was when the school year was about to end and I figured that i had nothing to do, and it was also around that time where I was OBSESSED with Kuroko no Basuke :) So I wrote Distance just for the fun and not expecting to have readers. But I guess now that there's no turning back. XD Heck, I even made another account for originals, a definite no turning back. XD

So I'd say that my readers are my inspiration to write.

My favourite book on Wattpad you ask? I have lots! But i guess of all fanfiction I'd say WinterRaineeDay-senpai's works are a definite to read.

Retardedinpajamas: There definitely is no turning back xD D'awww, your readers would be happy to see this! <3 Winter-san's work is gold I tell you! I cannot contain the feels whenever I read her books ;n; And her book is ending I can't-

Okay, before I can blabber even more, may I ask how things are now that you are famous in wattpad? :D Your knb fan fics are a huge success! What does it feel like when people appreciate your work? :)

LivItYourWay:Hmmm well popularity has never been my goal in the first place. My goal is to make my readers happy and satisfied!

[Help... I am currently surrounded by kids below the age of 10 as I type TT^TT]

But to be honest, the fact that my KnB fanfic are a huge success is actually quite the surprise since before I starting fanfiction writing Writing was what I hated most (quite ironic I must say since I am notorious among my classmates for being a bookworm). But knowing that they're a success really brings a smile to my face.

[One of them is straddling me QAQ, and the other is rambling about Peter Pan QAQ]

lol it really is ironic but we're lucky you decided to write!

last question: if you were given a chance to meet your fans personally, what would you say or do to show your appreciation to them? :D

(still, stay strong xD lol u can do dis. and i love peter pan)

LivItYourWay: Meet my fans personally? To be honest that actually sounds quite horrific since:

1. I am only ever talkative with my friends, highly quiet when around people (in which I will be mute next year because my only companion in class is changing schools)

2. I have the softest voice, in class when I want to answer a question I have to repeat it at least over 10 time QAQ plus my low presence (just like Kuroko-kun)

But if I could show them my appreciation then I would probably

- make sweets

- give them a drawing (I should do that on my DeviantArt! :D)

- make a plushie for everyone

- or fix something they broke (a skill I have developed from breaking everyone I use in less than a week)

[I will, I have fanfics to finish after all :D]

So to end this interview, I would like to thank you for accepting my request of interviewing you Livia-san! I'm glad I was able to chat with you, and I really enjoyed it! Any last words (in this interview) to your supporters out there? :)

LivItYourWay:  Well to finish this interview (that involved quite a lot of noisy kids that scream like banshees on my side), I would like to thank you senpai for choosing to interview me and write such amazing fanfics (of all people!). And also my readers too no doubt. However I know that thank you isn't enough since I'm aware that many of you have waited for quite a long time for my updates *kowtows o(_ _)o* but I promise that when the school holidays come I will definitely update more often I SWEAR ON THE RIVER STYX! (sorry, book reference)

But seriously, thank you minna-san and I wish the best for all of you! (in case some of you are still in school like me)
