Iori Izumi (和泉 一織, Izumi Iori) is Mitsuki Izumi's younger brother who has a "cool" personality. His parents run a cake shop called “Fonte Chocolat”, and the interior is decorated cutely, which influences him to like cute things in the end.
Iori carries a superior air but has proper manners, although he possesses a poisonous tongue. He likes to have things well-planned and executed orderly, which is why if anything goes wrong, he cannot deal with it.
He really likes cute things especially the Usamimi Friends Collection; very ticklish; was on student council at his previous high school; bedroom has cat motifs hidden throughout; goes to the same high school as Tamaki .

• これまでアイドリッシュセブンで描かれてきた、芸能界の内情やお客さんの気持ちの動きやそれに対するアイドルの気持ちの変化が、第3部では更に深く描かれています。芸能界を揺るがす大きな問題に立ち向かう彼らにご注目ください。
Up until now, both the inner workings of the entertainment industry as well as the feelings and actions of the customers and how idols feel and react to that have all been illustrated through Idolish Seven, but in Part 3 those aspects are illustrated even further. Please keep an eye out for them as they stand up towards a large problem as it shakes the entertainment industry.

• Iori actually really loves cute things, especially the Usamimi Friends Collection, but refuses to admit it. He’s afraid of people finding out because he has a cool image. He even lists “cool and sharp things” under his “likes” and “small and cute things” as his “dislikes” in his bio, to uphold that cool image.

• He was on student council at his previous high school. He transferred to a new high school with Tamaki when he got scouted. According to Iori, "this high school is tolerant of absences and early departures", since they have their idol jobs.

• His favorite fashion accessory is a jacket.

• Iori is terrible at lying.

• Iori is extremely ticklish. Mitsuki mentions that Iori’s entire body is covered in weak points, and as a kid, he would often take advantage of it.

• Iori was scouted by the president while returning from a shopping trip after school and only accepted it on a condition that Mitsuki would be scouted too.

• When the Izumi Brothers quarrel, Mitsuki is usually the one who will make amends first.

• According to Tamaki, Iori is popular with the girls at school. A girl from the class next door once asked Tamaki what Iori liked because she wanted to get Iori a Christmas present.

• Tamaki was the one who decided on the occupation for Iori's job experience. Initially, Tamaki wanted something challenging for Iori since he can do anything easily, and he thought of "Body Builder Iorin". The thought of a "Buff Iorin" made both Tamaki and Tsumugi laugh. In the end, Tamaki decided on a newscaster for Iori, as he seems to be well liked by the television staff, and plus Iori has a perfect business smile.

• After seeing Riku drunk, Iori vowed that even if he’s an adult, he will never drink. Tamaki also made that same vow.

• Yamato makes character lunches for the Underage Group in IDOLiSH7. And whenever he makes omurice for the members, he sticks a flag in only Iori and Tamaki’s omurice.

• Iori tags along with Nagi on walks. This is because small animals are attracted by Nagi, and he often encounters stray cats while on walks.

• Whenever Nagi hugs Iori, he will touch his butt because he enjoys the way that Iori will scream.
