Seema
"Seema, are you even listening to me?" I can hear the frustration in my lovely friend Kaira's voice, yet choose to ignore her and continue my task of flipping the papers of my file.
"Fine" I thought she gave up already but she surprised me when she snatches the file away from me.
"What's wrong with you Kaira?" she stares back at me with disbelief.
"Seriously, Seema? It's not me, that's you" pointing her finger at me as she strode towards me, yelling "How long are you planning to torture yourself for that pathetic excuse of man, Seema accept the reality, he has moved on with his arm candy, now its your turn" it irks me, before she could say anything further, I interrupt her.
"listen, listen to me carefully Kaira, I know you are my friend but it doesn't give you the right to disrespect my h.." I pause and corrected myself.. "my son's father"
"He can move on with whoever he wants but can't have official relationship with any, because I am and will always be his wife"
Her eyes narrows and she pulls her arms up, folding them across her stomach "that's the reason I hate him more, because you still can't hear a single wrong word against him and that ba..." I scowl at her, she understand the drill and stop.
"I am sorry ok. But I can't see you like this, since you saw him with her in that party, you being so cold to yourself. Leave him and start living your life. You are young and beautiful, you can still have a real relationship rather than holding up on one in paper" I can understand her worry but nobody will understand me, I can't let him go, at least not on paper. He betrayed me, shattered me, he ruined me for other... if I can't have a life, neither will he...
"Kaira, I am fine. You don't need to worry about me." Putting my hand on her arm, i assure her in a soft tone.
"Seema , you being delusional" she might be right... I sigh and hug her.
"Rudra and my oath to make his life hell, gives me reason to live, otherwise I have -absolutely nothing to look forward to" She holds me tight before looking up at me.
"If that's the case then bring it on bitch" she winks at me holding her tears. Mom and Kiara are my pillars, they help me to stand back against the world.
As I have completed my work early, I rush to home, to my love... but my happiness turns to fury when I notice Rahul's car outside my home.
"Ma, I'm home" walking through the entrance, dropping my bag by the door, I kick my shoes and hurried across the hall, and I feel a surge of fury rise within me watching Ria with my son.
"Rudra, go to your room?" My voice came out little harsher than it should be, I don't want to lash out at Rahul in front of my son, but I am freaking mad right now.
"Seema" Rahul calls my name, am I seeing what it seems...like he caught red handed...its too late..
"Rudra" my poor child's lower lip pout, unaware of the entire situation and the reason of my anger, looking one parent to the other, bewildered and about to cry . My heart melts looking at her pouty face.
"You don't need to shout at him" Rahul glare at me with anger, he holds my little Rudra in his arms as he walks towards his room.
"Show me your super heroes, chap" in return my son giggles, but frown looking back at me. I heard him mumbles to his dad.
"Why mumma is so angry?" I feel so bad.
"Bad day at work, I guess" Rahul replies shortly and head towards the room.
