Ghost of my past

Prologue

9 years ago...

Goggles and his mother was in her car, driving to a local bakery in Calimari county.
The freeway was dark with barely any lights, ice covered the black road. Drivers had to drive carefully so no one could get injured. It was snowing on that day. Goggles loved snow.

It was Goggles 7th birthday and his mother decides to buy a cake just for him.

"Cinamon, what kind of cake you would like?" She asked her son.

Goggle had a huge smile on his face. You could tell that he was excited. He had an expression of too much hapiness and he couldn't contain it.

"Chocolate marshmello cheesecake!" He said in a quick tone. Goggle's mom looked at him with a smile on her face. Goggle was blushing a light blue that went with his dark blue skin color.

This was one of the perfect moments a young squid could have with his mother, but at that moment, everything went wrong.

A driver behind the two suddenly lost control on the ice, as their car hit the mother and the young squid. It caused a chain reaction as Goggle's mother hit a yellow car to the right. It was like the whole freeway was an ice rink but no one knew how to skate.

A train was coming, and Goggle's mom realized that. She spammed the gas and the car went off the tracks.

Goggles blacked out and so did his mother. The car was flipped over.

An hour passed by...

The young blue squid woked up to find his mother uncousious and covered in  blood. Goggles was shocked at what he saw.

When he tried to move to help his mom, his body hurted and he flinched at the glass stuck in his skin. But he did not care. The only thing that was in his mind was his mom.

"Mom?" Goggles wispered.
There was no reply.....
"MOM!" He yelled.
Goggles went up to his mother and touched her. He poked her on the shoulder. Still no reply.

He was getting impaitent and decides to shake her. Once he saw her face, he realized that his mom was dead...

Goggles sobbed into her shoulder and held her. Her blank head layed in his lap. Goggles stroked his mother's pink tentacles. They were in a bun.

This was the saddest moment of his life.
