Monday what a horrible day! Everyone was either hangover from another party Sunday night or too tired to function properly.

Rosie somehow found her way back home after the party and was now cursing at me for not looking after her, so I told her the story now she won’t leave me alone about the boy.

“Come on Emily, you got to know who he might be.” Rosie said as I slammed my locker shut and groaned.

“No I don’t, like I said ‘mystery guy,’ I think you need your hearing check.” I said placing my book in my bag and walking down the hallways.

“Not one clue?” She said as we entered the bathroom so Rosie could ‘patch up her make-up’.

“So when you see Prince Charming are you going to give him a big kiss?” Rosie said as she puckered up her lips.

“Ew. Like she here can ever find a guy.” Melanie or Miss Popular said as she exit one of the stalls. Melanie was the Barbie type, super skinny, tall even without hells, perfect blonde hair, bright blue hair and the skanky clothes.

“Well obviously she did.” Rosie snapped back at her, I looked in the mirror comparing Melanie and me; I had the straight mousy brown hair, dull brown eyes.

“What are you looking at freak?” Melanie said just as she was about to apply her lipstick.

“Um… erm… Nothing” I stuttered, Rosie pushed me out of the bathroom, Rosie being Rosie didn’t look if anyone was walking or standing in front of the girls bathroom but I hit into someone’s side.

"Woah! Careful!” An angry voice said. I looked up ready to say ‘sorry’ when I saw it was him, the guy who kissed me on the cheek when we were running from the cops and the guy I danced with.

“Dean.” Melanie said angrily as she stepped out of the bathroom.

“Mel.” Dean said as they linked arms, am I missing something?

“Don’t talk to her. She’s not worth it.” Melanie said as they walked away.

“I give you the Thomas twins.” Rosie said as I looked at the two of them walk away together, Melanie went her separate way and Dean went to his friends. Dean looked back at me giving me a wink and continued to walk towards his friends.

“Their siblings? I thought they’re dating.” I said, as I looked puzzled as Rosie and I walked off.

“Ew. Dean doesn’t go for anyone, at this school anyway.” Rosie said, as I couldn’t help look behind to see Dean standing with his friends and he was looking directly at me.

“What are you looking at?” Rosie stopped as she tried to look at what I was.

“Nothing.” I muttered looking away from Dean and trying to push her down the hallway.

“You were looking at Dean, weren’t you?” Rosie gasped.

“No!” I shouted trying to defend myself from my best friend.

“Wait! Please don’t tell me he is the mystery guy.” She said I just kept silent looking ahead of me as she waited for my answer. I kept quiet.

"Tell me it’s not him!"

"No, oh god! No! I’m glad it’s not him,” I lied, how could I be so stupid? How come I didn’t recongise him? I always saw him in the hallways laughing with his two friends.

“Good, he’ll just break your heart

I should of never told Rosie about him! I should have just let it go and just pretend it’s just a random thing that happens at high school parties.

“What did he look like?” Rose questioned as we walked home, taking our sweet time. Black hair, big blue eyes, buff, really attractive, sexy, the list goes on and he is Dean Thomas.

“Ummm… Blonde hair, brown eyes, short like my height short! I was taller than him because of your heels. He had an accent maybe Scottish or Australian and he was super tanned!” I lied, I never lie, why am I staring now? I mean it was just a kiss on the cheek, nothing more and nothing less than that.

“He sounds… Cute? Yeah, cute!” She stumbled to find the right words for the made up guy.

“Yeah, it was just a one time thing. I mean he only kissed me on the cheek, nothing special.” I said as I glanced at my best friend.

"At least he didn’t shove his tongue down your throat.” She laughed as her red hair bounced around her shoulders. I laughed along wit her, you see Rosie has one of those laughs that are contagious and you just have to laugh and she also has a really weird laugh. We laughed almost the whole way home; I had to stop because I was choking on my own laughter.

“Mum! I’m home.” I shouted as soon as I entered through the front door of my house. As always it is silent, I have no siblings, my dad bailed when I was one, so it’s just my mum and me. She works a lot, I mostly stay at Rosie’s or just put up with the lonely nights, mum has three jobs. I walked down the corridor of our small cottage house, two-bedroom house it’s perfect for my mum and me. I entered my light green room, my room was covered in photo’s of my mum, Rosie, family and just photo’s I get off tumblr that inspire me. I have a photo frame above my bed of Rosie and me. Our hairs are wet from the sea and we are standing on the jetty. My pale skin was next to Rosie olive skin; it’s weird a red head, olive skin and bright blue eyes. Rosie used to get bullied about her being Satan’s daughter, she just laughs and agrees. I meet Rosie when we were staring high school, I was socially awkward (still am) I was washing my hands and Rosie came in crying, she started rubbing at her arms furiously and asked me the most weirdest and strangest question that began our friendship.

“Do I have anything on my butt?”

~Just the beginning, introducing everyone (sort of) it'll get better later on. Promise~
