Chapter 2: A New Light

"My name is Y/N.." You muttered quietly, but just enough so then they could hear. "That's a beautiful name.." Jay said dreamily, Kai hitting him on the head soon after. Zane cleared his throat to rid of the obvious tension. 

"Well, Y/N, did you have any Idea you could do that?" Zane asked. "No.. I don't know where that came from.." You said, a bit more confident that they won't harm you. " Sorry, but your gonna have to come with us," Cole said with a blush as he rubbed the back of his neck. 

"I don't even know who you are!" You said. 

"But-" Zane started. 

"No! Just leave me alone!" They all shared a saddened look. "Please Y/N, we have to find out what you're capable of. You looked up thinking... 

"But, I'm supposed to be in school!"

"Y/N trust us... We're good guys, you're special," Jay commented. 

"Okay, but you have to tell me where I'm going first," You replied, still not completely convinced they were going to help you.

 "If you want, I can give you a piggyback there?" Jay asked flustered. "Uhh... I think I'm okay thanks.." You replied uncomfortably. Jay pouted which made you laugh a bit - but you were still hesitant around them.

Without warning, Kai ran up to you and scooped you up bridal style and ran into the wall, flipping backward before landing on a black-tiled roof, he then jumped onto a roof and put you down (clearly trying to show off for you). 

"You wanna run with us from here?" He asked you. "Sure," You asked and smirked from the ninja's kind help, he blushed wildly. The others climbed up the easy way, giving a look to Kai as to say 'Gonna get you back for this dude'. Cole grabbed your wrist gently. "Just follow my lead, okay Y/N?" Cole said as you nodded in agreement. On the way, you kept overtaking a few of them, before purposely falling behind so you could follow them when you did this, they all looked at you surprised. "Haha, guess you're a fast one, eh Y/N?" Zane shouted to you."What? Never seen a girl run fast before?" You yelled jokingly, they all chuckled at your response. 'Wait, you started having flashbacks to your father beating you again.. What if they do the same?' 'No... They wouldn't, they're too nice.' and so you continued, but a tad more hesitantly this time. "You okay Y/N? Sorry if this is creepy, but I can sense your heart rate has increased drastically and-" You cut Zane off. "I'm fine Zane," You quickly interrupt him mid-sentence. 

We had finally arrived, feeling nervous as ever, we approached the wooden gates. "Wait.. How do I know I can trust you?" You suddenly uttered, all eyes fell on you. "You don't Y/N, but we are just trying to see what happened back there and see what Sensi says about it, you could be in danger, but we just want to help you," Cole said, smiling at you generously. You smiled back. "Okay," You said having more trust now. They opened the gates slowly, they creaked so loudly, it definitely needed a good oiling. You looked at the training garden. "Woah.." You gasped... "Cool right?" Kai bragged. "Sure is," You replied slowly zoning out as you explored the open garden. You were interrupted when a man with a white, Santa Claus like beard slid open the vintage sliding door. "And who is this?" The man asked. "My name is Y/N, nice to meet you! Are you the Sensi I've heard so much about?" "Why yes I am, nice to meet you too Y/N."

All of the guys blushed when they say how good you interacted with Sensi, normally he would be mad of them bringing a new person home, but this time... He was very welcoming. They adored your smile. "Hey, Sensi? Can we talk to you?" Kai said. Sensi nodded and they followed him inside.
