he has been my favorite horse for years, i was the only one stupid enough to jump him but he's improved so so much!
a photo from when he came back into work, i took him for a long hack and we had a nice few gallops so he was very very sweaty 😂 i got off him because he fell to his knees and i was worried he'd cut himself but he was completely fine! just dramatic 💗
he absolutely loves to give kisses! if you walk by his stable he expects a kiss and a treat, he's a bit snotty but he's got good intentions 😂
he puts up with a lot, i'm never still on him and he has came on so well! he went from getting too deep into fences to springing over 🥺
this was him a few weeks before i broke my collarbone, he took a giant stride out which is amazing for him at this height! with him being a heavy cob he finds it harder to jump but loves it so so much 💗
unfortunately, badger has had feather mites which are a bit like fleas but they like in the feathering of his legs (the fluffy parts) and they irritate him a lot, usually he has pretty bad chunks out of his legs from constant scratching 🥺
he's a bit silly, he'll always be muddy or covered in wee but we love him! he's so so cuddly and the most gentle horse 💗
during lockdown, i rodé him a lot once i had healed so it involved a lot of bareback work 😂 the poor thing had to put up with me in a shark onesie and sitting backwards🥺
i rode him tackles during lockdown and he didn't listen at all and just instead kept charging for the other horses but it was fun 😂
at the minute, i've been hacking him out a lot❤️ he's horrible by himself, he naps horribly and rears and bronks so it's interesting to say the least 😂
