Alice sat in her room candles lit in a pentagram and her black hair pulled back into a bun. "You're reading the ritual wrong I swear he would've showed by now"
“Maybe he's busy”
“Yeah right azazel fucking busy. No. He lives for these fuckning deals”
Alice grabs the book and reads the spell in her head. “This doesn't make sense it's like a lines missing or something?”
“I don't know you're the one who found it”
Alice sits down on the couch flipping through the old book. The leaves wear tearing and creasing. Some of the ink was smeared and illegible. Alice threw the book down.
“Maybe the moon isn't in the right position.”
“Yes because I studied all the patterns for months and you think I got it….”
The pentagram burst up in flames.
“I am the demon azazel why have you summoned me. “
His voice shook the room.
Alice stepped forward.
“Azazel we are here to accept the mission”
“And who are you? “ His voice boomed again.
“I am Alice Moonchild, born and raised angel hunter.”
Azazel boomed. “I know that you’re well known as is your father in the realm. My question was who is he!” Azazel’s yellow eyes flashed as he looked around and saw the boy. Riley who moments ago was helping Alice summon him was now cowering in the corner shaking.
Alice sighed. “Really!! Riley get up.”
Azazel bellowed, “How dare you summon me with a child.”
Alice became angered by azazel’s tone, “I am here to accept your mission to reach lilith.”
“How could you possibly accept this mission?””
Alice mumbles words under her breath in latin. Her hands burst in flames and she looks at azazel.
His yellow eyes sparkle. “I will let him know you accepted.”
Azazel vanished in a puff of smoke leaving Alice coughing. The candles went out and a book appeared in the center. Alice picked it up and flipped through the pages. Lilith's incantation was sprawled across the pages. Really, you think this is gonna help? She mumbles to herself. If no one has been able to summon her in over 500 years why do you think giving me instructions is gonna help. Alice sighed and put the book on top of the other book.
“So, now that we’ve gotten the approval from azazel where do we begin?” Riley looks at Alice.
“Well first off we need to talk to someone who knows her.”
“Who the hell knows lilith?”
“Angels know her. They’re the ones who banished her.”
“You’re an angel hunter!!! You’re not gonna get within 500 feet of them!”
“I’m not, you are.”
“Okay no, I’m not getting anywhere near an angel.”
“Fine we will give up on the mission.”
Riley sighed and groaned. “Fine. What do I have to do.”
“Talk to an angel, and figure out what we need to do to make them talk.”
“Great, angels.” He sighs, “Exactly how I wanted to spend my saturday.”
“It's not my fault I can't get near them Riley! “
Riley mumbled something inaudible. “Will you at least come with me?”
Alice sat up. “I thought you'd never ask! “ Alice pulls a clean set of black jeans and a plain black shirt out of a drawer before changing and pulling on her black boots. Riley sighed and watched the door while she changed. Alice threw on her satchel inside was a knife she had gotten from her father. It was a genuine angel blade. Her father had given it to her, before the angels killed him. Alice stepped out of the house locking the door behind her. A seal etched in black was on the door. A design that kept angels out.
